Layton glanced at the unconscious man on the sofa, his sharp eyes relaxed as he spoke, “How would you take him to your car? There are rooms upstairs. I’ll just take him up.”

Layton called a server to assist, and together they carried Alex out of the private room.

As the door to the suite opened, Haley stepped in first. Layton glanced at Alex, who was unconscious on the large bed, and turned to leave. Haley quickly locked the door behind her.

She walked back into the bedroom and gazed at Alex, who was completely out of it on the bed. Her excitement was impossible to hide.

Meanwhile, on the sidewalk in front of Encounter Bar, Ellie was wandering alone.

Ellie had encountered the blonde girl wearing that necklace last week, and she hadn’t managed to catch up with her. But a person’s habits aren’t so easily changed.

Diana shot Ellie a proud, dismissive look. “Why not? This is too good of an opportunity to extort money. I can’t let it slip away.”

“Extort money?” Ellie asked, taken aback.

“Why else? You think I care about him?” Diana replied, her tone almost mocking.

Ellie was left stunned.

Seeing Ellie’s confused expression, Diana began explaining while unlocking her phone. “Since Haley dares to challenge me, I’m going to make her regret it.
