Alex sat on the sofa, his elbows on his knees, holding a cigarette with one hand and resting his forehead on the other.
His pent–up anger was intense. His already dark and tired face turned even more ominous after hearing Layton’s words.

Alex glared at Layton fiercely. “With the way she’s treating me now, would I dare?”
