She pushed Alex away and then pulled Aaron out the door into the garden.
Ellie hesitated. “Aaron, I know you’re worried about me because of my memory loss. Mom, Jason, and Whitney are all very concerned about me, too. But the expert Jason found has been treating me for so long, and I still can’t remember anything
I checked with Mark, and the foreign expert Alex contacted is really an authority in this field. I want to try. Maybe this could help me recover my memory.”
Aaron frowned. “If you really want to go, wait until I get approval from my superiors. I’ll go with you.”

Aaron looked at his sister’s worried but hopeful eyes and felt like words got stuck in his throat. He couldn’t say anything.
“Aaron, don’t worry. Alex is just like you. I know both of you are concerned and care about me. Just let me try; I really want to recover my memory as soon as possible,” Ellie said.
