Chapter 449
“Ms. Grant has a bold personality. We’re all used to it, Ellie casually said and handed the clothes in her hand to eme
When they came out of the bathroom, Diana had left first. Quinder and Lacey were still there, and Aaron was in the kitchen Watching Yvette go to the kitchen, Ellie came to the living room
Lacey was angry with Quinler because Diana had left. “I made an appointment with Diana to come and visit Mrs Thompson. What are you doing here? Don’t you have legs? Can’t you come by yourself? Why do you have to come with ust
Quinlee explained with some embarrassment, I’m sorry, Ms. Mosley. I thought we were all friends and it would be livelier if we came together.
“Don’t make it sound so nice. You now depend on the Grant family. You don’t side with Diana and turn your elbow out everywhere. Are you really Winnie’s younger sister?!” Lacey glared at Quinler angrily and pulled Ellie to sit beside her.
Ellie quietly looked at Quinlee, and Quinlee subconsciously lowered her head and clenched her hands tightly at her sides.
Back then, if it hadn’t been for Lacey, who went to the Warren Manor and sued to Alex’s parents, saying that Quinler bullied Ellie overseas, it was estimated that Quinlee and Alex would have got married long ago, and she wouldn’t have been driven out of the Warren family by Nancy.
Now, Lacey started to question Quinlee’s identity. “What are you talking about, Ms. Mosley? Of course, I’m Winnie’s real sister, Could it be a fake?” Quinler was so angry that she gritted her teeth, but on her face, she still looked innocent.
“I came here all cheery, but turns out I’ve put a damper on things for everyone. Since Ms. Mosley doesn’t wanna see me, I’II just skedaddle, Quinlee said, feeling bummed,
Quinlee got up to leave, and Ellie politely rose to see her off.
“She’s such a drama queen, just ignore her, Lacey said, yanking Ellic back to plop down on the sofa.
Brushing off Lacey’s harsh words behind her, Quinlee slipped out of the living room quietly. Just you wait, you little troublemaker! Quinlee thought, gnashing her teeth in fury.
“Quinlee, Yvette called out, rushing after Quinlee right then.
Noticing Yvette looked down in the dumps, Quinlee casually asked, “Yvette, what’s up? Why do you look so down?”
Yvette smiled awkwardly, holding Quinlee’s hand, “Ms. Janssen, could you take me to the Grant Manor? I pissed off Ms. Grant and Aaron’s really ticked. I wanna apologize face–to–face.
“No biggie, of course, Quinlee replied.
A few minutes later, the two hopped into the car. Quinlee fired up the engine and slowly drove away from the Thompson residence. “Yvette, there’s something I’m kinda on the fence about saying, Quinlee said in a chit–chatty tone as they talked.
“I don’t have many buds here, so I’m really stoked to know you, Ms. Janssen. If you got something to say, spill it.” Yvette said, sounding glum.
“Before you came into the picture, Diana and Aaron were all over each other for ages. Everyone in our clique knew about it. Did Aaron ever bring this up to you?”
Caught off–guard by Quinlee’s sudden question, Yvette was left shocked. It took her a while to snap out of it, and she quickly said, “Aaron didn’t breathe a word to me, but I can tell by the way they look at each other. I haven’t hung out with Aaron for long, but I can see he’s really doting and lenient towards Ms. Grant.”
Quinler said, “Diana’s got a top–notch family background, a killer body, a gorgeous face, and she dresses super hot. She’s been flirting with Aaron for ages, and who knows how far things have really gone between them.”

Quinler continued. “But then again, it Aaron agreed to go on a blind date, it means things between them are probably kaput. Yvette, this is your shot. It’s great to hang out with friends, but you gotta grab the chance with a great guy when it comes
around.”
All the way to the Grant Manor, Quinlee kept hammering ideas into Yvette’s head. By the time they arrived, Yvette was totally in a state of disarray.
“Yvette. I’ve got some things on my plate, Diana’s right in that building over there. You head on over by yourself, I won’t be going with you, Quinler said, and hollered for a servant to show Yvette the way to find Diana.
Spotting the anger that Yvette could barely hold back, Quinlee couldn’t help but smirk triumphantly. Quinlee was determined to turn Ellie’s life, and the lives of everyone around Ellie, into utter chaos, with not a single moment of peace.
“Miss, Ms. Grillith is here, the servant announced, leading Yvette into the living room where Diana happened to be.
The instant Diana laid eyes on Yvette, her face turned as black as thunder. “Who the devil let her in?”
“I’m terribly sorry, miss. It was Ms. Quinlee Janssen who told me to bring Ms. Griffith here,” the servant stammered. cowering backward in fear.
Yvette casually cast a glance around the living room, and a fleeting glint of jealousy flashed through her eyes. No wonder Diana was so high–handed and full of herself. Just one look at the opulent decor was enough to blow anyone’s mind.
“Ms. Grant, don’t give her a hard time. I literally begged Ms. Janssen to bring me here.” Yvette took a step forward and offered an apology. “Even though Aaron told me it wasn’t my fault, I still feel super bad for not treating you right.”
Diana, in her slippers, towered over Yvette in high–heels. Looking down at Yvette with a look of pure disgust, Diana said, “Yvette, there’s no one else here. Cut the act in front of me.”
Diana said, “The first time I saw you in that bar, your male friends were up to no good, and the second you kicked my phone away, I knew you were a piece of work!”
Caught red–handed by Diana, Yvette dropped the charade. She gracefully tidied her long hair and met Diana’s eyes squarely. She said, “Even though I have no clue what you are blabbering about, since you opened her mouth, I’ve got a few things to say to you too.”
Diana let out a sneer.
Yvette said, “I know you’ve got a thing for my boyfriend, and I know you’re way better–off than me in every aspect. But I still hope you can keep your dignity and not be the home–wrecker who tries to break up our relationship!”
Diana crossed her arms over her chest and warned icily, “Calling me a home–wrecker, who the hell do you think you are?!”
Yvette retorted, “You’re lusting after my boyfriend, so you’re the home–wrecker!”
“Yvette, picking a fight with me won’t do you any favors!” Diana picked her ear, and with a look of revulsion, she turned around.
Hearing Diana’s words, Yvette’s face kept changing expressions. When she spoke again, there was a clear hint of panic in her voice. “What the hell do you mean?!”
Diana turned around and said, “Just what you think it means, duh
Yvette declared, “Aaron and I are about to get engaged. Be smart and stay away from him. No matter how pushy you get, won’t give you the time of day!”
Diana shot back, “Whether he pays attention to me or not, that’s none of your business.”

Diana taunted, “Take a wild guess?”
