Before Quinlee could finish her sentence, Diana raised her hand and slapped her too.

Quinlee held her stinging cheek in disbelief and said, “Diana, you’re way too arrogant! I’m just trying to help you. How could you lash out and hit someone?!”
Even the onlookers couldn’t stand it, and they started criticizing Diana’s actions.
Diana pointed arrogantly at Quinlee’s forehead and warned her, “Don’t think I’ll tolerate you just because you’re my sister- in–law’s sister. If you talk nonsense again, I’ll tear your mouth apart!”
“Diana, I’m doing this for your own good. If you don’t appreciate it, then I won’t say anything else,” Quinlee said. Although she was wishing she could lash out at Diana, on the surface, she didn’t dare truly confront Diana and could only hold back and step away.
Yvette blamed, “Ms. Grant, I know you’re an heiress from a wealthy family and everyone is afraid of you, but that doesn’t mean you can just hit people without a reason!”
Yvette, with a scratched arm, stood in front of Aaron, her eyes red with frustration. “Aaron, you need to judge this. It’s bad enough she’s a prideful heiress who bullies others, but how can she have no basic sympathy?
“I told her the medicine was for Mrs. Thompson, and she threw it away anyway!”
“Diana!” Ellie noticed Diana angrily heading towards Yvette and quickly grabbed her arm. “Calm down and talk it out instead of acting on impulse,” she advised.
Yvette and Quinlee were clearly trying to provoke Diana. With her strong personality, Diana always faced problems directly and never held back. Moreover, she was always proud and often didn’t care to explain herself. It was understandable that she might end up at a disadvantage because of this.
Ellie could understand why Aaron kept reminding Diana not to be impulsive in difficult situations. But Ellie never expected that the bag Yvette always protected contained medicine for Joanna’s rheumatism treatment.
“Move out of the way, Ellie!” Diana pushed Ellie aside as she walked towards Yvette, her high heels clicking on the ground.
“Ms. Grant, are you really daring enough to hit me in front of Aaron?!” Yvette subtly moved closer to Aaron for safety.
“What if I slap you right in front of him?!” Diana raised her hand, ready to hit, but Aaron caught her wrist in mid–air. Locking eyes with Aaron’s intense gaze, Diana gritted her teeth and snapped, “Aaron, let go!”
Diana tried hard to pull her hand back, but Aaron held it even tighter. Without saying a word, and with everyone watching, he pulled Diana out of the restaurant.
Yvette watched as Aaron pulled Diana away without a word and gave Quinlee an embarrassed glance.
“Yvette, you should go check on them,” Quinlee cleverly suggested.
“Ms. Griffith!” Ellie stepped in when Yvette tried to follow Aaron outside, blocking her way. “Thank you for helping with my mom’s medicine. Even though it spilled, we appreciate your thoughtfulness, Ms. Griffith.”
“It’s fine. When Ryker isn’t busy anymore, I’ll have him take me to his friend’s place to get some more medicine for Mrs. Thompson, Yvette said, pushing past Ellie to chase after Aaron.
Seeing Ellie not letting Yvette leave, Quinlee came over to help. “Ellie, Yvette is Aaron’s girlfriend after all. Why do you keep stopping her?”
Ellie ignored her. The three women were tugging at each other, and Ellie spoke with a sarcastic tone. “Aaron is talking with Diana, and someone as polite as Ms. Griffith wouldn’t disturb them, right?”

Yvette pushed Ellie away with a sour look. “It’s just a small injury, nothing to worry about. I’ll leave after I have a quick word
with Aaron.”
By the road outside the restaurant, Aaron let go of Diana. Under the streetlight, they looked at each other with only a step of space between them. Seeing Diana so angry, Aaron frowned, “You threw the medicine away, hit someone, and you’re still mad?”
Diana exclaimed, “Aaron, shouldn’t you at least ask why I got mad and hit them?!”
