Quinlee panicked and quickly retreated back into the apartment. Ethan, inside the apartment, was so scared he wanted to jump out the window but Quinlee stopped him.
Quinlee said, “I’m just here to help you out a bit since we’ve been friends. We haven’t done anything wrong, they won’t do anything to us.”
“Besides, I’m Quinlee, the second daughter of the Janssen family, and my sister is married to the eldest son at Grant family. Even Mr. Warren can’t do anything to us!”
