Chapter 662
Alex’s sudden fainting at the entrance of the Thompson residence frightened Ellie. She immediately took him to the hospital.
Before Alex was taken into the emergency room, Ellie checked his pockets and removed every metal object.
The watch on his left wrist, and the lighter in his coat pocket.
When Ellie took out the bracelet from his inner pocket, she paused.
She thought. He really managed to braid one. Although it’s a bit crooked and uneven!
After putting away the bracelet, she reached into his pants pocket and then took out her missing car keys.
She thought, I knew I had put the car keys in the ward. They shouldn’t have been missing. It turned out this jerk had hidden them.’
Ellie felt speechless. Then she put everything away.
Alex was pushed into the emergency room. Ellie didn’t tell Orion about Alex’s fainting yet but called his parents. Then she waited for the results in the corridor.
“Ellie, how is Alex?” Alex’s parents arrived anxiously.
Ellie explained the whole story to Alex’s parents.
Hearing that Alex fainted at the entrance of the Thompson residence, Nancy looked at Todd and said, “Honey, do you think Alex has regained his memory?”
Todd frowned. “Don’t jump to conclusions. Let’s see what the doctor says.”
Ellie stood silently beside them.
Recalling how Alex had suddenly clutched his head in pain at the entrance of the Thompson residence, Ellie shared the same thought.
“Dr. Thompson, Mr.
Warren’s test results are out. Everything is normal. But he hasn’t woken up yet.
“We will transfer him to a ward for observation, and we will conduct further checks when he wakes up,” a doctor came out of the emergency room and explained the general situation.
Ellie finally breathed a sigh of relief and led Alex’s parents to his ward.
“Ellie, do you have a minute? I’d like to talk to you,” Nancy stood beside Alex’s bed and asked Ellie tentatively.
A few minutes later, the two of them entered a small meeting room.
Ellie closed the door and poured Nancy a glass of water.
“Nancy, just say what you want to say,” Ellie sat next to Nancy and said straightforwardly.
Nancy held the glass and hesitate

for a while.
She looked up at Ellie and asked the question that had been on her mind for a long time, “Ellie, you can also tell that although Alex doesn’t remember you, he still has feelings for you.
“As his mother, I know what he’s thinking.”

Nancy paused and slowed down. “Ellie, if one day Alex regains his memory and pesters you as he did five years ago, what will you do?”
Nancy stopped and waited for Ellie’s answer.
Ellie sat quietly in her seat and looked down, looking calm.
Seeing this, Nancy became anxious. She held Ellie’s hand and said, “Ellie, I know that Alex has done something wrong to you, but he has paid the price.
“He was in jail for five years for you, and our Warren family also declined because of that. Can you please stop hating him?”
Ellie looked into Nancy’s eyes and comforted her, “Nancy, it’s been so long. I don’t hate him anymore.”
Nancy got emotional when she heard that. “If he recalls everything and still refuses to give up on you, will you consider accepting him again?”
Ellie frowned slightly and didn’t speak for a long while.
Alex was still pestering her even though he hadn’t regained his memory.
“Nancy, let everything take its course,” in the end, Ellie just said that.
It was a vague answer.
