After a short silence, Ellie made her decision. “If it’s a deal, Mr. Warren, I have the right to negotiate.”
Alex raised an eyebrow. “Go on.”
Ellie said, “While I’m in danger, you must guarantee the safety of me and my kids!”
Alex grinned. “I’ll throw in full family coverage. Everyone’s safe.”
Ellie added, “This is just physical. No emotions. I don’t want anyone to know. When the danger’s over, we’ll cut ties–no strings attached.”
“That works for me. I never stay interested in one woman for too long,” Alex said with a shrug.
“And I’m fine keeping things private,” he added. “Saves me the trouble.”
Ellie stared at his smug face, fuming silently.
“Deal!” she snapped, glaring at him.
Alex, however, gave her a shameless grin and kissed her deeply.
Ellie tried to resist, but Alex’s dominance overwhelmed her.
“Drive,” Alex ordered, releasing her and signaling the driver. He gave Barry a glance before lowering the divider.
“Mm…”
The moment the divider was down, Alex pushed Ellie onto the seat and kissed her fiercely. His intense passion left Ellie no room to escape, forcing her to endure.
“Not in the car!” Ellie protested, noticing her shirt slipping off her shoulders.
“Relax, I won’t do it here,” Alex muttered, his breath heavy with desire.
His chest rose and fell as he fought to control himself, his eyes dark with restrained hunger. Gritting his teeth, he stopped, pulling her clothes back in place.
But his lips never left hers. He kissed her gently, teasing her senses. “You’re my woman. If we’re doing this, it’s going to be in my bed.”
Ellie bit her lip, holding back any sound as his voice echoed in her ears. Her tension eased slightly.
At least this madman wasn’t about to take her in the car, especially with the driver and Barry in the front seat,
