At the same time, in the private room, Lacey was the first to note Ellie had been gone for too long and stopped the music. “Haley, where’s Ellic?” she asked.
It wasn’t until Lacey spoke that everyone realized Ellie and Haley had gone out together and hadn’t returned for a long time. They all turned to Haley curiously.
Haley smiled and explained, “Ellie said she wasn’t really into the party atmosphere, so she headed home early.”
Lacey picked up her phone but saw no messages from Ellie, which made her feel uneasy. “Did she have something urgent? Why did she leave without saying anything to me?” she said.
When Haley saw Lacey was about to call Ellie in front of everyone, she quickly stepped in to stop her. “She asked me to let
know. I didn’t want to dampen the mood, so I stayed quiet, Haley explained.
After Lacey put her phone down, Haley casually returned to Alex Before she could sit down, Alex got up to leave. Seeing this, Haley quickly stopped him and said, “Alex, where are you going?”
Alex gently moved Haley aside. “Just wait for me here. I’ll come back to pick you up in a bit,” he assured her.
“Alex, isn’t it a bit much to be so controlling at her age!” Haley commented knowingly, aware that Alex was likely off to find Ellie
Haley clung to Alex’s arm and wouldn’t let go. “Ellie is old enough now. If she’s meeting a boyfriend, do you really have to follow her as her brother?” she teased.
As soon as Haley spoke, the men in the room began teasing Alex “You’re not going anywhere,” Haley said with a playful pour
“If I drink too much, you have to take me home!”
Alex looked down at Haley’s playful expression and affectionately pinched her cheek. “Alright, I’ll take you back to my place when you’ve had enough,” he promised warmly.
“Oh, stop it,” Haley’s heart fluttered at Alex’s words. Blushing, she pulled Alex back to their seats.
Near dawn, in a secluded villa on the outskirts of Jaslands. By the indoor heated pool, two men sat wearing only their shorts, staring at Ellie who was still unconscious by the poolside.
Trevor knelt beside Ellie, his sinister eyes fixed on her chest and he said, “You think just because you hooked up with Alex, 1 can’t do anything to you anymore?”
The man next to him paused in the middle of unzipping Ellie’s side, “Trevor, you don’t mean Alex, the heir to the top family in Jaslands, do you?”
“That’s right,” Trevor said, practically drooling over Ellie, “Alex beat me up over this woman. You can tell she’s been used up by him!”
The man next to him, realizing she was Alex’s woman, quickly pulled back, “We can’t touch her. If Alex finds out…”
Trevor replied, “I’ll just say the girl came
onto me and offered herself to me willingly.”
“Let’s talk after we‘
e’re done,” Trevor expertly unzipped Ellie’s side and said, “Make sure you get a turn too, so you can experience what it’s like with Alex’s woman.”
