Chapter 5 

A flash of panic flashed in Linda’s eyes as she opened the door a small crack. 

“Honey, what are you doing here?” 

Drew looked puzzled and disoriented, and after a brief pauses of thoughts, he stopped again and handed the jewelry box he was holding to Linda. 

“Never mind, it’s better if you take it to her, she has that foul temper and refuses to give in when she sees me. You tell her one more thing, tell her to come back when she figures it out, after all, she’s still carrying my baby in her belly.” 

Drew’s words fell like a hot burning fire on Linda’s ears, yet she managed to keep her calm.. 

Once Drew left, Linda squeezed the jewelry box in her hand, sneered, and went into the bedroom. 

“Shirley, aren’t you a divine messenger? How did you die such a horrible death? It’s a shame to have such a nice looking ring on your hand.” 

Linda opened the jewelry box and casually threw the moonstone ring inside into the pool of blood. 

The ring that was originally emitting a glittering light was surrounded by blood and instantly became dull. 

Linda opened her mouth, her fangs biting into my neck, but quickly showed disappointment on her face. 

“Did she really give all her godly power to her family and have no godly power at all herself? What a fool! Guess I’ll just have to keep sucking it out of a few others. Those idiots still think I’m their baby girl, but what they never realized was that I have been a vampire for a long time.” 

Linda dropped my body off and with a wave of her hand, she used her powers to clean the 

bedroom and my remains disappeared. 

“After making sure everything was safe, she turned away in relief. 

It took me a moment in my soul form to realize that Linda’s body had long been full of vampires, and that the only reason she had agreed to come back in the first place was because of the divine power that had been left in them when I had made my wish! 

At that point, my soul regained some of its power and I restored the scene to the way it was before I cleaned Linda up. 

I followed Linda’s lead to the dining room. 

Everyone waited for Linda to arrive before beginning to eat at the dining table. 

Not seeing me, my mother put down her bowl and sighed. 

“Is Shirley still refusing to come? That temperament is too stubborn! Today, I even made her favorite nuts pudding with my own hands for the first time.” 

looked indifferently at the nuts pudding on the dining table. 

My mother probably didn’t know yet that I was allergic to those nuts in this dish. 

Alexander, who was always a bit uneasy, asked, “The smell of blood was so strong just now, she can’t be seriously hurt, can she?” 

At that moment, Linda suddenly whimpered softly. She shook her head and said, 

“Shirley didn’t look hurt. She was especially angry when I went in, slapped me, and told me that the reason she was so eager to reject Drew was because she had another lover. She said she had long since had enough of our family and was going to run away with that man and never come back.” 

*Slap… 

The glass bottle in Drew’s hand shattered with a loud crack. 

Luna’s Faked Death The Family’s 

He had gripped it too tightly, and the glass cut his hand, blood dripping onto the floor as the Tiquor spilled everywhere. 

“It can’t be. Shirley wouldn’t!” 

Linda raised her head, tears in her eyes, her voice filled with frustration. 

“Honey, when have I ever lied to you? How badly my sister treats me… didn’t you see it on our wedding day? If you don’t believe me, my face is the proof!” 

Linda’s face did indeed have a fresh slap mark. 

Alexander slammed his bowl down and cursed, “Thanks to me worrying about her injuries, how dare she run away with another man? When I find her, I’ll have to stab her in the leg again!” 

My parents were clearly disappointed.. 

I watched coldly as Linda slandered me, and the whole family believed her. I was already prepared to withdraw my wish. 

But then Drew suddenly stood up and rushed toward the bedroom. 

“There’s still time; she must not have gotten far!” Drew roared. “I won’t let her leave me!” 

A few remaining people from the group, the ones who would try to talk back to Drew, got up and followed. 

I dropped my hand that was trying to act and followed. 

Linda followed at the end with a smug look on her face. 

She was confident my body had been destroyed long ago, and that the whole family and Dr. wouldn’t be able to find even a single bone of mine. 

But when Drew opened the door, he let out a growl of pain. 

father and mother also turned white when they saw what they saw in the bedroom, my

father not saying a word and my mother falling straight to the floor. 

Only the bedroom door was wide open, and the blood inside had even trickled outside. 

Alexander boldly crossed the three people in the front.. He being the warrior who had always seen the brutality of the battlefield actually threw up directly. 

“It’s Shirley, she 

is dead?”
