Cat Mendoza:=
After dealing with the morning sickness and getting ready for my appointment with my OB/GYN, I picked up the car keys to leave, but just when I opened the front door to leave, there stood Alexander with his bodyguards with his hand raised, as he is was about to knock on the door. My eyes widen when I louded at him and gasped.
“Alexander, what are you doing over here?” I asked, looking around “And, who are these men with you?”
These are my bodyguards and now, yours too.” he announced and looked at the car keys in my hand “Were you going anywhere?”
“Wait, what do you mean by mine too?” I asked, confused, but then shook my head “You know what? I don’t want to hear it. Please leave as 1 am getting late for my appointment.”
Alexander looked at his bodyguards and nodded his head when all of his bodyguards disappeared like they weren’t even there. Once they were who knows vanished with magic, Alexander turned his attention to me and moved closer to me, until he was only mere inches away from me.
“Kitten, tell me where you are heading?” he asked, his voice deep and husky that made me gulp and take step back, when I felt something unknown ignite inside of me.
“Fo…For my appointment with my gynecologist.” I answered, in barely an audible voice when his expression turned to dark and he opened his mouth to speak, but this time his voice was dangerous.
“Why?” he asked “Are you planning to abort the baby
“What?!” I yelled out in shock and placed my hand on my belly protectively and shook my head in anger.
“Why the hell would you ask such a thing? I will never do that. 1ten over here, Mr. Winters. I don’t know if you want this baby or not, but I certainly do, which means I am having it with or without you. I was just going for my first check up to make sure everything was alright with the baby.”
“Why would you assume that I want you to abort the baby?” he growled, glaring at me.
“Just the way you assumed that I want to abort this baby. I snapped “Now, move. I need to go. As I said, I am getting late for my appointment.”
“I want this baby, just as much as you do. I will never abandon my baby, no matter how it is conceived. He will be given my name and every perk that comes with it, and so will you since you are the mother to my unborn baby and whether you like it or not I am coming with you for the appointment.” he announced “And, don’t bother taking the car keys. Because you are coming with me. My driver will drive us there as you shouldn’t be driving in your condition.”
This made me laugh and shake my head at him before I glared at him and stepped closer to him, and he frowned
“And, who said that a married woman can’t drive?” I asked with gritted teeth “I hope you have told Laila about this baby”
“We will talk about this later and don’t fight me in this. You are not driving until the baby is born and right now, you are coming with me”
I crossed my arms and energy of frustration and rebellion filled me.
“Well, since when did you start making decisions for me, Alexander? Don’t assume that simply because I am pregnant you can boss me around, or try to control me”

His jaw tightened and for a brief second I thought I read anger mixed with something like regret on his face. However, he immediately schooled this emotion and set a stony look on his face.
“Tu any case that you may choose to look at it, I still ain’t going nowhere. You are pregnant with my child, and I believe that has to count for something. I don’t want you to endanger yourself in any way, so no more driving especially when you’re not feeling well

“Fine. I will accept your decisions, Cat. But you have allow me to be here for you, for our baby. I’ll take you to the appointment because I want to, not because I want you to do it against your will.”
It was a small miracle, the way he calmed my furious thoughts; still, I could only begrudgingly agree.
“Alright, Alexander. We’ll go together but on one condition that there will be no more of assuming what I will or will not do You may not know what I have gone through or how much I have been looking forward to this baby. Although, I didn’t expect it like this, but I still wanted one for a very long time.”
He looked at me, with soft gaze when I said those words and raised his hands to caress my cheek when I stepped back nervously and spoke.
“Umm..so…can we leave now?”
