Well, Cat. Everything is good. You and the baby, both are healthy” my gynecologist announced pointing at the montior screen “Can you look at this? This is your baby,” she informs as she performs the transvaginal ultrasound as it was too ear to see the baby through normal ultrasound.

“It’s our baby?” Alexander asked with tears of joy in his eyes that made me feel happy looking at him.

I know we might not be on same page or know one another as this is an accidental pregnancy and co–operating with one another because of our unborn baby, but looking at him like this made me feel the emotions and feeings that I didn’t kno existed in me. Being him here, with me on my first doctor appointment make me feel relieved, letting me know that I am not alone in this

“Yes, it’s our baby. I tell him with a smile and he leans down to kiss on my forehead, sending shivers all over my body, lik an electricity spark.

He pulls away with a smile and turned his attention to the doctor who was still in shock after finding out that I was pregna by the man of my father’s age, which made me furious at her, as it is none of her business. She just needs to do her job. Af all, that’s what I am paying her for

“Are they both healthy? There are no complications or anything to worry about, right?” he asks, or move like demanded th doctor in a dominant tone which made the doctor flinch a little on her place.

“No, Mr. Winters. There is nothing to be worried about. Both mother and the baby are doing fine, but I would recommend Cat to take a little easy as her blood pressure is a little bit high then it should be. Maybe, it’s because she is taking stress.” shi pointed out and I rolled my eyes, understanding where she was going with this.

“Dr. Malcom, I can assure you my blood pressure is not high or tam in any kind of stress because of my baby’s father over here. Stop looking at him like you want to kill him because he impregnated a woman of his daughter’s age. He didn’t force himself on me. I slept with him because I wanted to. You dont get to judge anyone.”

I snapped, rudely making Alexander chuckle and shake his head amused.

The doctor seemed momentarily stunned, then looked at me shyly and nodded. “I apologize, Cat. It wasn’t my place to assume or judge. The only thing I care about here is your health and welfare. Now though, remember to keep things easy, te rest often and not to worry over things that are not important.

Alexander chucked me on the shoulder and looked back at Dr. Malcom trying to demoralize myself.

“Thank you, doctor. I will look after her properly,” he said with a smile.

The appointment ended shortly after that during which the doctor advised on prenatal vitamins and the next visit. Alexander followed from behind, looking at me, his eyes shining with admiration in combination with concern which was not only rather touching but also warmed the heart

We walked put of the clinic and got into his car to head back when he finally broke the silence and spoke, squeezing my hand gently into his.

“I did not know how much it would mean to me until I saw that ultrasound. I wouldn’t have thought I would be at this age having a child, Cat. I feel so happy and over the moon knowing that I am going to be a father again.”

I simply nodded my head understanding the various emotions that must be churning within him.

“Honestly, neither did I–But, I’m glad you are around, Alexander. Nevertheless, all this seems to be somewhat appropriate.”

“Cat, I want you to believe me when I tell you that I will be there for you and our baby, I will try my best. Regardless of how things are going to deteriorate, you will not face this on your own. You will find me by your side during this pregnancy. Always

“Thanks, Alexander. This means so much to me.” I tell him with small smile “Can you please drop me at this address if you won’t mind?” I asked showing him the address “I need to get to my work. My shift is about to start.”

“Your a fashion designer too?” he asked stunned.

“Just a junior for now, but trying to climb up.” I answered him with a shrug “Not everyone are lucky to have billionare father to help climb the ladder of success without any struggle.” I said, and he understood what I meant by that.

“You think I helped Laila reach the position of senior fashion designer?” he asked stunned “It was her designs and her hard work that helped. I am not the type of father you think of me as Cat

“You used your resources while I helped her with the designs by staying awake for God knows how many nights so she can acheive her dream job and she did. Because of me, but she forget everything I did for her, and stabbed me on the back by snatching my boyfriend from me.

I snapped and turned around to call for cab. As 1 begin to walk away, Alexander grabbed me by my arm gently and spun me around so I was facing him while he breathed heavily, his eyes pupils getting hard with anger, or maybe. Just maybe due to

“Don’t you ever dare turn your back to me ever again, young lady he growled “Or else.”

“Or else what?” I snapped, or tried to snap, but my voice came low, my body trembling due to how close he was standing to

me.

“Or else I am going to spank your adorable round ass.” he whispers in my ear huskily, leaning close and groped on my ass “I must say it is a very desirable and sexy ass.”
