Damien looked me in the eyes expecting me to give him an answer. I felt a pinch from Jeremy and when I looked at me, I saw a smirk tug at his lips. He looked different, his eyes hield danger as if he would hurt me if I didn’t agree with him. I had no choice but to comply. Although a part of me was scared of what would come after I played along with him. Jeremy was dangerous now.
“Yes, we are back together,” I swallowed and looked at Damien. He froze, his eyes glinted and disappointment shone on his face before he nodded.
‘What the heck, Cassie? How can you lie? We don’t want Jeremy anymore. Why did you lie?!‘ My wolf screamed, clawing from the inside.
“Did you not see his face? He looks like he would hurt me if I didn’t do what he asked. Do you want to hurt our mate? Do you want to tarnish his image? What about Mom, how would she react toward us after knowing we fucked Damien?” I asked her and she whimpered before settling and moving back to the end of my mind.
I couldn’t trust Jeremy at this moment. He could do anything to Damien and tarnish his image with the pack. Damien ran his hand in his hair and looked at me again.
“Are you sure? Are you sure you want to get back with him?” He asked desperately.
I wanted to tell him I didn’t want this. To run behind him and hide away from Jeremy. To stop Jeremy from using his fingers to caress my skin. However, I couldn’t do it. I couldn’t run away. I had to stand my ground and lie to Damien.
“Yes,” I said.
“Okay, I am fine with anything you want,” he said.
I nodded. He didn’t care anyway. He wanted me to be with Jeremy so he could have peace with himself. He wanted my mother and not me. I was nothing but a fucking instrument to him anyway. Then he turned to Jeremy who was a little shaken by the sudden stare.
“If you hurt her one more time, I will break your limbs. I am not joking Jeremy, if you make her cry one more time I won’t let you explain yourself.” He warned, giving Jeremy a serious gaze. Chills ran down my spine as his Alpha aura distributed in the air.
Jeremy was also shaken, he nodded. I knew he was only shaken by his Alpha aura and not because he wouldn’t be cheating on me again. He had two women with him, it was indisputably not his first time.
“Alpha, I promise you that I won’t ever cheat on her again. Those girls seduced me and trust me, I am not being defensive, I admitted that I was at fault. I should have been more careful. I would love it if her mom didn’t know about this. I promise to- be good from now on,” Jeremy uttered speaking like a miserable man. He was Lying. How could he lie so much?
Damien nodded before walking away and I wished to clutch his back and be buried in his irresistible scent.
Once Damien had gone, I turned to Jeremy.
“What is this about? What do you want?” I asked, my gaze cold on him.
“You know you shouldn’t be looking at me that way especially because I know everything about you and your stepfather.” He chuckled.
I rolled my eyes. He must be happy that he has something against me. Bastard.

“Should we talk about it here? Everyone will hear us, let’s go to a place that’s more quiet and private.” He grabbed my hand and I yanked it back. He turned his head over his shoulder, glaring coldly at me before hijacking my hand again.
He dragged me to his room but I couldn’t fight back. If I fought back, it would look as if he was forcing me to go with him. Although he was forcing me, I couldn’t show it to anyone because he knew my secret. Bastard.
He threw me to his bed and I sat at the edge while he shut the door, latching the lock. Jeremy turned to me, his expression colder than before when we were outside. His breath also became harsher and I felt his wolf at the edge glaring at me.
“You won’t let me touch you yet you allowed that old man to do so.” He huffed.
I said nothing while I stared sideways.
“We would keep dating, only I can break off the relationship. That is one of the things I want,” he said.
I lifted my head, our gaze meeting and I looked away when his got darker and scared me. I needed to see this side of Jeremy. He was always gentle and sweet. What the hell got into him?
‘I have always told you, I didn’t trust this bastard!‘ Dana growled and I kept her back.
“You don’t want to do it?” He asked, moving closer.
“Answer me!” He yelled making me jump back.
“And if I don’t?” I didn’t meet his dark gaze.
“I will tell everyone about you and Damien. You are sleeping with your stepfather, how will your mother react?” He chuckled darkly.
“I will do them.” I still didn’t meet his gaze.
“Good. Only I can break off the relationship and you must allow me to do whatever I want and support me. You don’t have any right in this relationship, no questions. Nothing. Do you get me?”
I nodded even when I didn’t want to. I had no choice.
I fisted my palm, fighting back the venom in my chest.
“Do you understand me?” He grabbed my jaw and lifted my head so I met his eyes. They were cold like ice.
“Yes!” I spat. “Yes!”
“Good. Since we are clear, get on the bed for the first mission.”
“What?” I asked.
“Should I repeat myself, Cassie? I said get on the damn bed!”
