Chapter 32 Kneel and Apologize
Zoey glanced toward Russell, who was currently surrounded by a group of influential figures.
This moment seemed perfect–if Russell noticed something amiss, the mastermind behind the scenes would hesitate to act rashly. Only under such pressure would they reveal themselves.
Supporting Leanna, Zoey led her unsteady steps toward the restroom.
Leanna felt some strength return to her body, and the oppressive heat subsided. In a voice low enough for only the two of them to hear, she asked, “Zoey, how’s my act so far?”
Zoey chuckled softly. “Good enough to fool anyone.”
Leanna’s eyes twinkled with excitement. “I’m actually looking forward to this. So, when do we get ‘abducted‘?”
Before Zoey could respond, four men suddenly appeared behind them. Each grabbed one of the women by the arm and dragged them into a nearby lounge, locking the door behind them.
The two women were thrown onto a sofa while the four men stood before them, already undoing their belts, spewing crude and obscene remarks.
Zoey sniffed the air. A potent incense filled the room–its aphrodisiacal properties unmistakable.
The mastermind certainly wasn’t taking any chances.

Zoey’s gaze swept across the room, landing on a camera positioned nearby. Narrowing her eyes, she bolted toward a
corner.
Two of the men lunged after her. With a flick of her wrist, they collapsed to the floor, clutching their necks.
The other two hesitated but eventually charged at Zoey as well, only to meet the same fate–down before they could get near her.
Zoey retrieved the silver needles she had used from her bag and gave Leanna a meaningful look.
Leanna staggered to her feet and moved out of the camera’s range. Using lip movements, she asked, “What now?”
Zoey switched off the camera and moved to the door, unlocking it slightly to leave it ajar. Standing just to the side, she smirked, “Now, we wait.”
In the adjacent lounge, Moriah was watching the screen, fuming. The two women had disappeared, and the room was unnervingly silent. Jumping to her feet, she muttered, “Those useless fools can’t even handle something so simple!”
Fuming, she left her room and scanned the corridor before rushing toward the neighboring lounge. Spotting the slightly open door, she muttered angrily, “Idiots! They didn’t even shut the door properly!”
The moment Moriah stepped inside, a puff of powder hit her in the face. Before she could react, a sharp blow to her neck sent

her crumpling to the floor.
Leanna watched, surprised. “What was that powder?”
Zoey arched a brow. “A special itch–inducing formula. An eye for an eye.”
Leanna frowned. “What’s your history with her?”
Zoey gave a brief rundown of their encounter at the mall and how Moriah was publicly humiliated afterward.
Leanna crossed her arms. “She’s disgusting.”
Zoey’s gaze turned cold as she looked down at the unconscious Moriah. “True, but the one pulling her strings is even worse.”
Leanna stared at her in disbelief. “‘Don’t tell me this was Ariana’s doing.”
“Who else? How would Moriah have even gotten into this event otherwise?” Zoey grabbed Moriah’s arm and dragged her to the sofa, tossing her onto it.
She then retrieved the needles from the unconscious men and smirked at Leanna. “They’ll wake up soon. Let’s get this show on the road.”
Before leaving, Zoey made sure to switch the camera back on.
She called Roland. “I need you to clean up the evidence of Leanna and me being near the lounge.”
Roland’s response was prompt. “Consider it done.”

Back in the banquet hall, Ariana saw Zoey and Leanna
staggering toward the restroom. A sinister glint flashed in her
eyes.
This wretched woman had humiliated her repeatedly over the past few days. Tonight, she would make sure Zoey’s reputation was utterly destroyed..
Setting down her glass, Ariana approached Livia. “Auntie, I saw Zoey and Ms. Spence heading toward the restroom just now, and four men followed them shortly after. They’ve been gone a while, and I’m worried something might have happened to them.”
Livia caught the sharp look in Ariana’s eyes and immediately understood her implication.
Feigning concern, Livia clapped her hands to draw attention. “I just saw four men following Zoey and Leanna! I’m terribly worried about their safety. Let’s go check on them!”
Several women nearby hesitated before agreeing. Rescuing Russell’s fiancée and the Spence heiress could only bring their families closer to power.
The group of six women moved quickly, attracting curious gazes.
Russell noticed the commotion and scanned the room. Zoey was nowhere to be seen. His sharp eyes narrowed. “Troy, take me there.”
Troy nodded and pushed Russell’s wheelchair to follow the group.

Livia and Ariana reached a lounge where they heard lewd sounds coming from inside.
Ariana clutched Livia’s arm, feigning fear. “Aunt, I think I hear Zoey’s voice…”
Livia frowned. “Are you sure? It sounds more like someone enjoying themselves than being forced.”
The other women’s faces turned pale. If this was consensual and they exposed it, Russell would surely destroy them for tarnishing his family’s name.
They exchanged uneasy glances, ready to retreat, but stopped when Russell approached.
Troy asked, “What’s going on?”
Ariana bit her lip. “I–I think Zoey is inside…”
From the lounge, a woman’s ecstatic voice rang out, “Oh yes, that’s so good!”
Ariana looked at Russell and said, “Russell, don’t worry, it might not be Zoey.”
Russell narrowed his sharp eyes and said, “You’re not even sure yourself, why bring Zoey into this?”
“I, I heard a voice that sounded very familiar,” Ariana bit her lip.
Russell’s narrow eyes gleamed with a cold light, “What if it wasn’t her?”
Ariana choked back tears and said, “I–I came here because I was worried about Zoey’s safety too.”

Ariane couldnt recognize who this women was, but she felt certain it was Zoer
Ariane turned to Russell with teary eyes. “Russell, Zoey must’ve been set up. Please don’t blame her..”
At that moment, a hand tapped Ariana’s shoulder.
Then tell me who set me up?”
Anana soun around, her eyes widening in horror. “Zoey?!”
