Yasmine gazed at the woman standing on the rooftop, her eyes chillingly indifferent. The woman looked back with hatred in
hers, yet Yasmine sensed a sly, triumphant smirk hidden there.
All around, teachers and students began whispering in shock and disbelief.
“Who would have guessed Abel, who seemed so honest, got involved with Yasmine?” someone remarked. “I can’t believe someone as stunning as Yasmine would be interested in Abel. Bit then again, she’s been with so many, it’s not really surprising, another person chimed in.
“Really? I always thought Ms. Sanchez was pretty nice,” someone responded, curious.
“What do you know? You can’t judge people just by their appearance. Everyone seems nice and gentle outwardly, but who knows how awful they might be inside,” another person commented…
The chaotic chatter made Yasmine constantly turn her head to see who was gossiping about her. Some were friends she usually got along with, while others were total strangers she’d never even spoken to.
Yoselin stood by Yasmine’s side, shooting glares at the onlookers. “What are you all looking at? Seriously, have you seen how stunning Yasmine is? There’s no way she’d be interested in someone like Abel,” Yoselin shot back.
Yoselin looked up and shouted at Bonnie, “If you’re going to accuse someone, at least bring some evidence! Show me what you’ve got!”
Bonnie glanced at Yasmine with dissatisfaction. Such a beautiful woman seemed completely out of place with someone like Abel. Yasmine should be with someone like Yonas. But she had no choice; she had to do it to get the money, the endless flow of money she was promised.
Bonnie said, “Looks don’t matter here. She’s still a woman and has her own needs. Even if Abel isn’t her type, she’s been with him, Mr. Leach. Are you going to do something about this or not?”

You said you’ve fallen for Yasmine, and told me to take the kids and get lost, never to show up in front of you again. Have you forgotten that? Your memory fades fast, but don’t worry, I’m here to remind you.”

Yasmine went up to the rooftop. “Ms. Bonnie, do you have any proof that Abel and I are involved?” she asked.

“Of course I don’t. I’m just a woman! Is there really no one who can stand up for me in this world?” she sobbed, clutching her son as tears streamed down her face.
Yasmine tried to get closer, but Bonnie stepped back. “Stay away Come any closer and FIl jump.”
Yasmine halted and spoke firmly, “Bonnie, you don’t actually want to die, do you? Otherwise, you wouldn’t be asking for money. I can give you 65 thousand, no problem. But I want to know who sent you. Who’s behind this attempt to frame me?” she demanded.

Right from the beginning, Yasmine felt something was off. When she first saw Bonnie arguing with Abel, there were a lot of bystanders, yet Bonnie kept glancing at her, as if confirming her target.
Today, Bonnie’s actions were so deliberate that her intentions were obvious. “I don’t know, don’t make me,” she said, her eyes bloodshot as she struggled to stand.
Suddenly, Abel, who was also standing at the edge, lunged at Bonnie and the child, knocking them to the ground. Security guards quickly intervened, grabbing both Abel and Bonnie to stop her from jumping again.
“Let me go. Abel, if you’re a man, have them let me go,” Bonnie shrieked, her voice cutting.
“Please help get her outside; her family’s waiting for her,” Abel requested.
As Bonnie was being taken away, she continued to yell, “I won’t let you off, Abel. Just you wait.”
Carter and Winston encouraged the crowd to move along. Yoselin approached and linked arms with Yasmine, gently saying, “Yasmine.”
Abel gave Yasmine an apologetic look and said, “I’m really sorry, Ms. Sanchez. I had no idea things would get this out of hand and involve you. She made everything up. I never told her anything about you.”
Yasmine gave a nod of understanding and said, “I got it.”
