Chapter 19: Should I Apologize to Her?
Chapter 19: Should I Apologize to Her?
Arthur’s brows furrowed deeper. Bipolar disorder? Since when did he have irritable disorder?
He coldly glanced at Caleb’s extremely panicked face.
“Well, you two can chat slowly. I’ll go wake up the kids and have breakfast early!”
Caleb smiled brightly, revealing a sunny smile. Miss Heroine was going too far! She betrayed him like this!
What kind of person did he provoke?
“Oh, by the way. Mr. Reynolds, your sleeping posture was also captured by your brother. I don’t know what he intends to do with it.”
Anna innocently blinked her eyes. Did she still want to play tricks in front of her?
“A photo?”
Arthur’s voice sank as he took two steps towards Caleb’s direction and ordered, “Give me your phone.”
“Big brother, I–I really considered your major life event. Just think about it, you held Miss Heroine all night. You have to give her an explanation. I took the photos as evidence to prove the female hero’s innocence!”
Caleb instantly became timid.
But he didn’t want to hand over his phone just like that. He silently said, “Big brother, besides, think carefully, don’t you really get angry when you wake up? I didn’t lie about that! Your anger is really strong!”
Angry when woken up and bipolar disorder…
Are they the same thing?
Anna was shocked by Caleb’s “nonsense“.
“Give me your phone.”
Arthur’s voice sank again.
Anna stood aside, suddenly feeling like there was a show to watch.
She had heard before that Arthur was a stern man, and there were rumors that he was very frightening when he lost his temper. She wanted to see just how frightening he could be.
Where would Caleb dare to refuse any longer? He could only obediently hand over his phone.
Arthur quickly operated on the phone and then threw it back to Caleb.
He turned around, his thin lips still tightly pursed. “I deleted it.”

“Okay.” Anna smiled at him. It was good that the photo was deleted, otherwise it would be so awkward if the photo was still there!
Caleb silently looked at his phone.
Indeed, it was deleted.
But his big brother had clearly sent that photo to himself through Messenger!
However, his big brother also deleted the photo he sent to his Messenger! So only he could see this photo!
His big brother was so cunning!
He didn’t guess wrong. His big brother was indeed interested in this Anna!
But he didn’t dare to say it. Arthur’s sharp gaze had already swept over.
“Everyone, I’ve prepared breakfast. Let’s go and enjoy it!”
Caleb smiled and walked out of the room first.
Breakfast was eaten in silence.
After Caleb and Arthur were sent out by Anna, she finally breathed a sigh of relief.
“Mommy, did you not sleep well?” Little Mason instantly noticed that Anna looked very tired.
Yeah. I’ll go take a nap. You study well, okay?”
She was really tired and exhausted, the kind of tired where she could fall asleep as soon as she touched the bed!
Meanwhile, in the car below Mystic Pines Haven Tower.
Caleb looked at Arthur with a face full of gossip, and her excited hands were clenched together. “Big brother! Did you secretly send the photo to yourself and delete the one in my chat history?”
Arthur remained silent.
“Big brother! Don’t think I’m really stupid. I know you must have taken a liking to Miss Heroine. Actually, I think she’s
s pretty good too. She’s brave and righteous, and she’s also charming!”
Caleb spoke as if stating a fact, and Arthur’s gaze became even more serious.
He immediately suppressed his exaggerated expression and said with a smile, “Big brother, I’m serious. If you really like Miss Heroine, I will go to grandpa and ask him not to arrange blind dates for you anymore.”
“Okay.”
Arthur lazily leaned back, his gaze fixed ahead.

Caleb exploded in an instant!
He, he, did he just hear what he thought he heard?
Did his big brother just agree?
What has he been through these past few days?
“Big brother, are you serious? As your big brother, you can’t fool me.”
“Don’t talk nonsense.”
Arthur raised his hand and rubbed his temple. “Drive to the technology museum and find out who wants to harm Jeremy.”
“Alright! I got it!”
Caleb understood Arthur. He knew that Arthur would definitely investigate the matter concerning Jeremy
personally.
The weekend passed.
Anna was bored, so he decided to go shopping at the nearby supermarket.
Unexpectedly, he received a call from Laura.
“Hello.” Anna’s voice was cold, filled with a sense of alienation.
“Anna, I think there must have been a misunderstanding between us that we didn’t explain clearly before. Me and Leah, we want to apologize to you because of the misunderstanding a few days ago.”
Laura seemed completely indifferent to what Anna said.
She just wanted to express her message, “We’re at Arcanopolis Restaurant, we booked a private room specifically to apologize to you.”
“Apologize?”
Anna was truly surprised. She had been waiting for an apology for the various actions she and Kate had done years.
ago.
Now, because of such a small matter with Leah, they wanted to apologize to her?
Interesting.
“Yes, Leah and I both hope that you can give us this chance. Can you?”
Laura’s tone on the other end of the phone was still soft and gentle, just like the “victim” five years ago..

“Of course.”
Anna squinted her eyes and readily agreed, “Send me the details of the private room you booked to my phone, I’ll be
there right away.”
Since they conveniently had other accounts to settle, she might as well take care of it all at once.
Arcanopolis Restaurant.
She pushed open the door to the private room.
And saw Leah and Laura discussing something. Leah became visibly nervous when she saw Anna.
But Laura’s eyes couldn’t seem to move away from Anna.
She was wearing a red cheongsam–like dress, with a high slit that reached near her thigh, sexy and charming. Her legs were especially slender, fair, and straight.
Her long hair was slightly curled, and she exuded infinite charm. Even two Lauras combined couldn’t compare to Anna in the slightest.
“It seems like I’m late.”
Anna slowly sat down in front of them, her voice cold, “Didn’t you arrange this apology dinner specifically for me? Why isn’t anyone speaking?”
