Chapter 25: He Was Shut Out
After saying that, Anna walked towards the door.
This was just the beginning.

When Mason came back from school, he ran excitedly to the kitchen.
He had already smelled the aroma of the food from outside the door.

Mason pouted and acted spoiled. “But when Uncle Julian comes, you cook meat and bake, isn’t that treating me differently?
“Go wash your hands.”
Anna patted Mason’s head. “Uncle Julian has helped us so much. It’s not just about one or two meals. I’m willing to cook for him for the rest of my life to repay him!”
Anna was serious.
After all, her life was saved by this man!

“Of course I like Uncle Julian!”
Anna didn’t avoid the question. “What? Is that not okay?”
“Is Mommy telling the truth?”
Mason was skeptical. “Then why haven’t you two developed feelings for each other or gotten together after all these years of knowing each other?”
He really liked Jeremy’s daddy.
That man was tall and handsome.
And had an excellent temperament.
Although his Uncle Julian was also good, but… they had known each other for five years. If they really could be together, they would have been together a long time ago, right?
“It depends on whether Uncle Julian is willing to marry me or not.”
Anna teased and placed the pork rib soup on the dining table, looking at Julian. “Julian, would you be willing to marry me?”

Julian shook his head with a smile.

“Anna, I have something to tell you.” Julian looked at Mason entering the room, and the smile on his face slowly
