Chapter 32: My Heart Is Melting
Did Arthur also like Glima?
Anna’s eyebrows slightly furrowed. Could it be that Arthur’s initial interest in her wasn’t because of Jeremy but because he liked Glima’s work?
“Anna, if you find it difficult, you could also sell the Ocean Halo set you wore before to me. I wouldn’t mind.”
With a mischievous glint in his eyes, Caleb teased, “Of course, if you can get Glima to join us, Arthur is willing to pay any price to sign her.”
“You called me here for this?”
Anna took a sip of tea, “Weren’t we discussing something related to Jeremy?”
“Heh! Of course, I mean, Jeremy also likes Glima’s work!”
Anna.
In the realm of making things up, who could surpass Caleb?
“Anna, I’m serious. We’re very interested in Glima. I heard she’s originally from Larkspire City. She might want to come back, right?”
-Caleb occasionally observed Anna’s facial expressions but couldn’t find anything.
“I also like her, and I find it surprising that your family members all like Glima. However, I don’t know her personally, and the Ocean Halo set I wore was a replica.”
Anna placed her teacup on the table gracefully, “But the one that was cut by Leah is real. If you need it, I can give it
to you.”
That dress was one of Glima’s publicly available designs, and it wasn’t hard to buy as long as you had the money.
Caleb couldn’t find any flaws in her story.
He scratched his head and said with a smile, “Alright, it’s a deal. I’ll go to Mystic Pines Haven tonight to get the dress!”
Anna finished her tea, checked the time, and walked out of Arthur’s office.
She took a deep breath, relieved that the man wasn’t there; otherwise, the atmosphere would have been tense.
As Anna left, Caleb was about to call Arthur. However, Arthur had already entered the office from outside.
“Arthur, did you hear everything I talked about with Miss Jenkins just now?”
Caleb blinked his eyes, trying to convey his thoughts, “Arthur, I observed Anna’s micro–expressions and found no signs of lying. Maybe that Ocean Halo set was really a replica!”

“Too close.”
Arthur sat on the sofa, legs crossed, his expression unchanged. He calmly spoke, “I heard everything.”
Upon hearing this, Caleb shivered all over, instantly understanding Arthur’s thoughts.
“Cough, Arthur, if I don’t get too close to Anna, how can I observe her micro–expressions? I did it all for you.”
Caleb moved closer with a smile, “Arthur, rest assured, we are brothers. I will never compete with you for women!”
“Can you compete and win?”
The man’s voice was deep.
Caleb was taken aback by his brother’s response.
Arthur’s current level of vigilance was unbelievable, especially considering that he had introduced women to him before, but now, he was so cautious!
“Okay, I can’t compete with you. I mean, Arthur, you’re overthinking it.”
Caleb analyzed, “Even if Anna is really Glima, there’s no harm in that, right? After all, now that Anna is in the company, whether she is Glima or not, it’s a win for us!”
Arthur remained silent, his expression still unfazed, seemingly lost in thought.
“Arthur, what are you thinking?” Caleb leaned closer.
“Do you plan to go to Mystic Pines Haven tonight?”
Arthur squinted, having heard everything from the adjacent meeting room.
Caleb’s eyes sparkled as if he had recalled something, “Oh, Arthur, I just remembered that I have an appointment with a girl tonight in Mystic Pines Haven. Since you and Jeremy are already here, would you mind going in my place to get the dress from Miss Jenkins?”
For his brother’s personality, he was well aware of it.
“Yeah.”
Arthur responded and seemed to recall something, “How is the progress on the reward notice?”
“No progress at all. No one has taken the job. The reward amount is already quite high. If this continues, we won’t be able to find ‘J‘. But Arthur, I’m puzzled. Can this person see the posts?”
“Of course.”
Arthur replied with a calm expression, “Increase the stakes. One billion dollars. I want to find “J” at any cost.”
Caleb, “…”

One billion dollars? Was Arthur Insane? Spending one billion dollars to find a person?
It seemed like Arthur had too much money to spend, which was why he was so wasteful!
“Arthur, if I find this person for five hundred million dollars, can I get the remaining money as my commission?” Caleb timidly asked.
“If you can find them, I’ll give you one billion dollars.”
Arthur glanced at him, then rose from the sofa and walked toward the exit, saying coldly, “I’ll go pick up Jeremy and head to Mystic Pines Haven.”
Caleb, “…”
This was going too far. Arthur was getting more and more excessive!
He seemed to care only about how to get to Mystic Pines Haven…
Mystic Pines Haven.
While Anna was having dinner with Mason, Arthur arrived with Jeremy.
However, she had only prepared a simple meal of four dishes and a soup.
“Here to collect the clothes,”
Arthur explained, not wanting to go into details.
“Oh, you mean Glima’s dress?”
Anna placed her dishes down and went to fetch the dress, putting it in front of Arthur, “Mr. Reynolds, please tell your younger brother that this dress is damaged, and I haven’t fixed it.”
“Alright.”
The man’s deep voice replied, and when their fingers touched, Anna felt like an electric current was passing rapidly through her entire body, causing her face to turn red.
She returned to the dining table, expecting Arthur to leave after taking the dress. However, to her surprise, he
remained seated on the sofa.
“Uncle Arthur, Jeremy, have you both eaten?”
Mason, in his childish voice, approached them, “My mommy didn’t make many dishes tonight, but they’re okay to
eat.
“Of course, you can eat.”
Anna was moved by Jeremy’s patience, and seeing his patient demeanor, she felt her heart melting.
