After seeing many obsessive and passionate pursuers, it was finally refreshing for Nyx to meet a male who only talked business and not feelings. She let out a sigh of relief. She didn’t dwell on it much, simply nodding at Seafarion to show that she understood his intentions.
Seafarion was rendered speechless. Through the cloak, Nyx couldn’t see his expression clearly, so she added, “For Mental Soothing. I’ll need to see your beast form. Can you accept that?”
If Seafarion couldn’t accept that, she would have to wait for her Soul Form to grow a bit more before she could try to soothe his human form. Nyx had asked casually, but she noticed that Seafarion seemed really troubled and hesitant.
After a while, he maneuvered his wheelchair into a private room, asked the staff to leave, and told them to close the door. “Actually, my body is somewhat disabled.”
Seafarion tried to appear calm, but Nyx could faintly hear a tremor in his voice.

While she was guessing, Seafarion suddenly removed his cloak, revealing his true form–He looked like a person made of snow, not just his hair and eyes, but even his long eyelashes were pale..
What stood out most, however, wasn’t his extraordinarily handsome face, but the silver–white fishtail beneath him.
The entire fishtail shimmered, its scales shining brighter than the most expensive jewels, the lines smooth and powerful, containing the unique strength of an SS–level male.
Unfortunately, this beautiful fishtail was submerged in dense black mist. The slight imperfection made him even more endearing. Nyx couldn’t help but furrow her brow.
Seafarion, who had been quietly observing her expression, immediately stiffened and quickly pulled the cloak back over himself.
“As you can see, I was born with a disability. I can only maintain a half–human, half–beast form and can’t transform into a pure human form or beast form,” he spoke quickly, nervous and disappointed.

But Nyx’s expression and tone were so sincere. And, it seemed like she had no reason to lie to him.

Chapter 103
Seafarion’s body was still tense, but his hands, which were gripping the cloak, slowly relaxed. Under Nyx’s gaze, the powerful fishtail gently trembled, and the fin–like tail flicked, revealing a hint of vulnerability.
It wasn’t until two jealous lions tugged her back to reality that Nyx belatedly felt a little embarrassed. She had been staring at an unfamiliar male for so long. But she swore she was just admiring him, and didn’t have any ulterior motives.

Seeing that her gaze didn’t stay on the half–human half–fish for long, and returned to them, Felix and Theon’s jealousy finally dissipated.
On the way out, they ldn’t resist transforming into their beast forms, the two large lions circling around Nyx, affectionately cuddling her.
Seafarion had been hesitating whether to invite Nyx to pet his tail, but before he could speak, Nyx had already stood up to leave. He could watch Nyx leave, helplessly seeing her petting the two lions from head to tail, smiling with her eyes crinkled up.
He thought. So, she really prefers furry ones?”
Nyx had no idea how long Seafarion had been staring at her back. Just as she left the venue, she was stopped by a figure. Looking closely, she realized it was Astraca.
Nyx–didn’t have a good impression of this female who had once rushed to hit Zayne without a word, but she still paused and asked, “What’s wrong? Did you need something?”
Astraca bit her lip, then tossed a box to Nyx. This is for you.”
Felix was quick to catch the box mid–air. Fortunately, it wasn’t some dangerous weapon but a pink diamond. It was the very same pink diamond that Nyx had stopped Felix from bidding on, which had gotten away. Nyx froze for a moment.

This pink diamond had actually been bought by Astraca. The price was astronomical, and for no reason, Nyx certainly wouldn’t accept such an expensive gift. She shook her head at Felix.

A few other females also popped up, glaring enviously at the small sunflower handkerchief Astraea had taken out.
“Why give it to her?”
“Why not give it to me!”
“I want one too.”
Xivar, who considered herself Nyx’s number one fan, hadn’t gotten a gift from her, and now Astraca had received one instead. Staring at Nyx, the females‘ jealous looks made Nyx feel an unexpected sense of urgency.
She managed a forced smile at Astraca, signaling that she forgave her, but such an expensive gift couldn’t be accepted.
