The biological father of the two brothers, along with the other secondary consorts of Eliana, all put down their work and headed to the hospital as a large family.

They hadn’t expected Nyx to be by Kai’s side, surrounded by such a terrifying group. They felt it was all tyx’s fault. She always had to meddle in things.

But Zayne silently signaled to the staff, stopping them from explaining. He watched the farce with a half–smile, curious to see what this family would do next.
It wasn’t hard to guess. Since this family thought Kai was beyond saving and came to claim kinship now, they were clearly eyeing the inheritance.
And Darius wanting to be alone with Kai was definitely hiding some ulterior motive.
The absurd part was that Kai was in a normal state and hadn’t lost control. What’s more, he had already regained consciousness but didn’t open his eyes immediately. He subtly nudged Nyx with his head.
Nyx picked up on the hint and understood Kai’s meaning. She hesitated for a moment before nodding at Darius, signaling her agreement. She got up and left the room first.

The others followed one by one, leaving the room and kindly closing the door behind them. Once the room was quiet and empty, Darius eagerly rubbed his hands together, impatiently heading toward Kai.
