Chapter 139
Outside the manor, Theon received the alert. His body tensed, and without a second thought, he ignored all obstacles and rushed inside.
He sprinted through the manor, following the Intelligent Brain’s guidance straight to the rooftop.
The females at the gathering were stunned.
Alicia was the first to react and followed him upstairs. “What happened?”
By the window, Nyx and Meli were still standing there, looking up at the stars. Hearing the commotion, they both turned their heads.
Seeing that Nyx was unharmed, Alicia let out a sigh of relief.
But Theon suddenly spoke, his voice urgent. “Quick–does this place have a secret passage?”
“What?” Alicia was stunned. “There is… there is…”
There was indeed a secret passage on the top floor, but she wondered why Theon was asking about it.
Still in a daze, Alicia led Theon around two corners to a hidden door, only to find it open. She was shocked. She thought, ‘What’s going on? Who has opened this door?‘
She turned to look at Nyx and Meli, only to see them drawing their weapons, aiming at her and Theon.
“Bionics?” Alicia suddenly realized and let out a scream.
In just two seconds, Theon swiftly took action and severed the Bionics‘ cores.
Without hesitation, he picked up Nyx’s Intelligent Brain from the biotic’s body, dashed through the hidden door, and pursued the direction where Nyx might have been taken.
What was supposed to be a girls‘ gathering had turned into a shocking disaster, bringing the event to an abrupt halt.
The Security Bureau and Female Protection Association personnel quickly arrived, and when they learned that the suspect who had kidnapped Nyx was also female, they were in disbelief
Alicia was even more overwhelmed with panic.
She had organized this gathering. She wasn’t afraid of taking responsibility, and she blamed herself, but she simply couldn’t understand why Meli was there.
She and Meli had been friends for many years. Meli had always been well–behaved, with hardly any faults
The only issue was her tendency to lose all sense of reason when in love–whenever she got into a relationship, her intelligence plummeted. She was constantly deceived by some bad males, losing money, body, and heart, even helping the seller after she was sold out.
“Oh…” Alicia pressed a hand to her forehead.
She thought, ‘Has Meli been tricked by some bad male again and used for this?‘
In the hidden passage, Theon followed the trail, but it soon disappeared.
All ports on Taboris were sealed off, with strict inspections of departing ships, but no clues were found,

This meant Meli must have had experienced accomplices who had meticulously planned the abduction.
The Security Bureau searched Meli’s home. Her parents and mates were shocked when they heard about the incident and claimed to know nothing about it.
The Security Bureau then conducted a thorough search of Meli’s room and finally found some biological traces. “Griffin…Based on the traces, he was last here about two months ago?”
‘What’s the connection between this notorious space pirate and the young female named Meli? Has Griffin coerced Meli?‘ That was the Security Bureau’s first assumption, as well as Nyx’s.

When Nyx regained consciousness, she found herself aboard an unfamiliar spaceship.
Due to the effects of some drug, she was completely weak. Struggling to turn her head, she looked at Meli, who stood nearby, and weakly asked, “Were you forced into this?”
If she was Alicia’s close friend, Meli shouldn’t be capable of such an act.
Meli’s eyes were red with tears, filled with both anxiety and guilt. “No… I wasn’t forced… I’m sorry… I just want you to my mate.”
Three years ago, Meli had accidentally saved the wounded Griffin, and over time, they fell in love.

“I heard that you brought Lord Kai back from a Loss of Control Index of 100, so there’s still hope for Griffin, right?” Meli pleaded, her voice desperate. “Please, save him. I promise, once this is over, we will let you go. We won’t harm you in any way.”
Nyx was silent for a moment. She felt that Meli wasn’t lying, but whether Griffin’s condition was as described was another story entirely.
Nyx opened her mouth, wanting to convince Meli to calm down and gather more useful information.
But before she could speak, a male voice suddenly came from the doorway. “Lord Richa, she’s awake.”
With that, the door swung open, and several males surged in. Among them, a middle–aged man was escorted to the front, his eyes gleaming with excitement as he fixated on Nyx.
Nyx lifted her gaze to assess him. His demeanor was sleazy–he didn’t seem like a good person.

“Richa.” Meli’s eyes lit up when she saw him. “Where’s Griffin? Bring him here, now.”
The man called Richa glanced at Meli indifferently, curling his lips into an unreadable smile before shifting his greedy gaze back to Nyx.
“Inject her with an inducer and bring her to my room,” he ordered his subordinates.
Meli panicked instantly. She threw herself over Nyx, trying to block them. “What are you doing? You promised you wouldn’t touch her!”
“You swore to guarantee Nyx’s safety!” she shouted at Richa, her voice full of fury.
“Relax; she’s perfectly safe.” Richa raised an eyebrow. “An SSS–level female like her is one of a kind. Of course, I wouldn’t harm her–I plan to spoil her.”
“Speaking of which, I should thank you. Without your help, I wouldn’t have gotten her.” Richa sneered, “As a reward, I’ll let you go. I’ll even give you a truth. Griffin is dead.”
Meli froze as if struck by lightning. She trembled, her strength seemingly drained away.
Nyx had already sensed that things were going terribly wrong. But she was powerless to comfort Meli when she herself was in grave danger.
Beads of nervous sweat formed on Nyx’s forehead as she watched the male approaching with the syringe. Her voice turned sharp. “Step back.”
An SSS–level female’s mental suppression was something no male could resist.
The males in the room visibly shook. The two closest to her dropped to the ground with a thud, scrambling backward in a panic.
The syringe slipped from their hands, shattering on the floor.
The crisp sound jolted Meli awake. She struggled to pull Nyx up, trying to escape with her. But Nyx was too weak–Meli could barely lift her.
“Go first,” Nyx urged, shaking her head.
She thought, ‘At least one of us has to escape. Meli is pregnant.‘
Meli’s eyes filled with tears. She hesitated, unwilling to leave.
Seeing her hesitate, Nyx gritted her teeth in frustration. If this continued, neither of them would get away.
Every second counted. Richa was the first to break free from her mental suppression.
He immediately called for reinforcements to drag Meli away. His eyes locked onto Nyx, filled with disbelief and humiliated rage. “Did you really think you could escape with just that little trick?” he said.
Even if Nyx could suppress them for a while, a weak female like her had no chance of escaping this massive spaceship.
Richa let out a sinister laugh and retrieved another inducer from his Space Button.
This time, he would inject Nyx himself.
Under the inducer’s influence, no matter how defiant she was, Nyx would become obedient and docile, completely incapable of resistance.
The mere thought of possessing an SSS–level female sent a thrill through Richa.
