The six–year–old cubs had already learned not to disturb their parents‘ activities.
In the morning, when they found that Nyx hadn’t come out for breakfast, the cubs couldn’t help but ask Zayne, “Is Nyx
sick?”
“She’s not sick.” Zayne patted their heads. “But Nyx might be having a baby.”
As Chubby, Sky, and Ash grew older, Nyx had already been thinking about a new parenting plan.

He now knew that Nyx was a child of the Divine Tree, a special female, and pregnancy posed no danger to her. Even so, he still felt that a pregnant female was very fragile and needed to be well protected.
Chubby grabbed his two younger brothers and started giving them a lesson. “From today, no jumping onto mommy randomly, and no running around the house recklessly”
Sky and Ash, who were still new to being older brothers, were even more excited than Chubby and couldn’t contain their joy. They lost interest in playing outside and, after breakfast, dashed straight into Nyx’s bedroom.
When Nyx woke up, she found herself sandwiched between two fluffy bodies, with the lion and gray wolf pressing their warm bodies against hers.
Realizing Nyx was awake, Sky and Ash immediately got up, affectionately rubbed her face, and then switched to human form, swiftly bringing her the toiletries.
Nyx was confused.
She groggily moved her arms and legs, confirming they were all intact, without any disabilities. She touched her forehead, which wasn’t hot, confirming she wasn’t sick. So why are Sky and Ash suddenly so attentive? she wondered.
Although the cubs usually tried to care for Nyx Jike their fathers did, their doing this today was rather strange in Nyx’s eyes.

Chapter 216
Soon, Chubby entered with breakfast, taking over the work of his younger brothers and feeding Nyx. He even perled each kernel of corn for Nyx and ted it to her with a spoon.
“What’s going on with you guys today!” Nyx laughed in disbelief.
She guessed it might be because she had woken up late today, and the cubs thought she was unwell, so she reassured therm Don’t worry, I’m not sick.”

Nyx sanddenly started coughing violently.
The cubs were scared and quickly poured her some water and patted her back.

She pinched her hot earlobe, shaking her head in denial. “It’s still uncertain whether I’ll have a baby,”
It would take a few more days for the results. She preferred not to get the cubs too excited, in case they were disappointed later.
Despite what she said, Chubby, Sky, and Ash still stayed by her side all day.
A week later, the test results came back with a change.
Seeing the pregnancy confirmation on the report, Nyx sighed in relief. Fortunately, she didn’t disappoint the cubs.
With two previous birth experiences, she was very calm this time, putting down the report and pulling the three cubs into her arms, jokingly asking them. What kind of little baby would you like?”
“Anything is fine,” Chubby answered immediately. After a moment’s hesitation, he added softly. “It would be even better if it’s fluffy.”

Nyx quickly imagined her mates‘ beast forms and thought the chances of a fluffy baby were quite high. She comforted Chubby, “Alright, I will try to give you a fluffy little brother.”
Even though Nyx was just comforting him. Chubby visibly perked up.
“What about you, Sky!” Nyx looked at Sky.
The little gray wolf thought for a long time before saying, “I like little kittens.” He had spent a long time with Dollar and the tabby cat on Earth and had missed his two little cat friends since returning to the Empire.
Nyx paused for a moment, thinking it might be difficult. Strictly speaking, a kitten like Aurelius, the chosen one, only appeared once every thousands of years.
However, newly born liule tigers and leopards were also small in size, so she thought they might just meet Sky’s requirements as well.

The cubs were filled with anticipations, and every slay they would tell stories to the baby in Nyx’s belly, from one month old to three months.
This pregnancy was mostly quiet, but sometimes the baby would move violently, leaving Nyx unsure of its personality.
The mates took turns staying by the bed, afraid of repeating the situation when Sky and Ash were born.
But this new cub didn’t seem in a hurry to come out. Three months had already passed, and it was well beyond the due date, but Nyx still hadn’t gone into labor
The males were terrified. Even the usually calm Zayne began to feel uneasy. He tossed and turned for days, holding Nyx tightly, his voice trembling. “If it doesn’t work, we’ll have to perforin surgery”
Before he could finish. Nyx’s face changed.
As if hearing Zayne’s words, the baby inside her seemed to hurry up and finally left Nyx’s womb.
Nyx lay in the medical chamber, watching a larger and rounder egg than Chubby, being held by Zayne.
The huge size explained why it had stayed in her belly much longer than usual.
Sera, the fourth child of Nyx, quietly rested in Zayne’s hands, appearing very well–behaved.
When Nyx stepped out of the medical chamber, it suddenly sprang into action like a clockwork toy, rushing toward her.
Even Zayne was startled. Quick as a flash, he hugged the egg.
The true nature of Sera exposed itself as it writhed in his arms, throwing a tantrum and rolling around.
On the side, Theon and Erik were stunned. They thought, “This little one is even more troublesome than Chubby was
Everyone turned to look at Jaws. Could it be his cub again? they thought.
Jaws narrowed his eyes. “What? I’m not alone in being troublesome, am I?”
“Let me hold it.” Nyx reached out to rescue the distressed Zayne.
Once in Nyx’s arms, Sera immediately turned back into a good baby, snuggling up to her tightly.
Nyx’s maternal love surged. Along with the overwhelming emotions, she suddenly felt a strange sensation in her chest.
