react.
The males scrambled to take Sera from Nyx’s hands, trying to move her somewhere quiet, but before they could even take a step, a piece of eggshell fell onto Nyx’s hand.
Nyx looked up, stunned, just in time to see a tiny, chubby fist punching through the shell with determination, forcing its way out through the hole.

Even though Nyx wasn’t the main focus of the ceremony, she was still under constant watch.
The commotion she caused had already drawn a lot of attention.
At first, people just noticed Nyx looking flustered. Then, when all her powerful mates suddenly stood up in a hurry, obvious that something big had just happened.

The whole thing was so unexpected that the ceremony had to be paused. Thankfully, the coronation had already ended- Aurelius was now officially the new ruler, wearing his crown and holding his scepter.
Without hesitation, he jumped down from the platform and rushed toward Nyx, desperate to be by his beloved female’s
side.
“Nyx–Aurelius the Emperor called out, his voice full of urgency.
The crowd instinctively parted to let him through.
The retired Emperor and former Queen exchanged glances and shook their heads with a sigh.
Becoming Emperor was supposed to make Aurelius more composed, but instead, he looked more flustered than ever.
They understood how excited he must be as a father, but this was a major event, broadcast live to the entire Empire and even the whole Star Alliance. ‘Shouldn’t he at least try to stay composed and maintain his royal demeanor?‘ they thought.

Aurelius stood frozen. He stared at the hatchling who had just broken free from the egg, completely dazed
The newborn female cub was tiny, covered in nutrient fluids and looking a little messy. But her round little face already had traces of Nyx’s features–she was a beauty just like Nyx.
She had Nyx’s facial features but inherited Aurelius‘ hair and eye color.
Nyx wiped her face, hands, and feet clean, wrapped her up in the tiny clothes she had prepared in her Space Button, and carefully picked her up.
Though she was smaller than a newborn human baby, she felt sturdier. Her skin was smooth and chubby, not wrinkled and reddish like the newborns Nyx had seen before.
Sera locked eyes with Nyx, her gaze sharp and alert. She let out a few loud cries, as if she had just figured out how to make sounds. “Ma… Mama”
Nyx was overjoyed. She couldn’t help but planta kiss on her chubby little cheek before calling out to Aurelius, “Come hold
her!”

The royal family finally had a little princess. Looking at the lively and adorable baby girl, the entire royal family beamed. with joy

Nyx, who had been resting with her eyes closed, thought it was one of her mates messing with her again. She almost swatted the tiny hands away by reflex
But when she opened her eyes and saw the baby in front of her, she quickly stopped herself and picked her up instead.
Outside, the males had heard the commotion and pushed the door open.
