The bright red sauce was bubbling, and the meat, a perfect balance of fat and lean, seemed to have fully absorbed the flavors, making it impossible not to salivate just by looking at it
The other pot, on the other hand, seemed much lighter, with yellow corn and ribs cooking together in a creamy white broth.
