Her expression changed so quickly, it shocked everyone present. They were all frozen in place.

Lia’s fake crying stopped abruptly, a look of shock and fear flashing in her eyes.
The King’s Guards quickly took control of the scene. With the Queen personally overseeing things, whether the troublemakers were female or male, they’d be subdued as quickly as possible.
Everything happened so fast, Nyx didn’t even have time to react–it seemed like it was over before it began

Hurting Aurora wasn’t her intention. But even though she had a good temper, she wasn’t someone without a backbone. No matter how one looked at it, Aurora got what she deserved.

Immediately, Zayne’s gaze sharpened, and he quickly looked around. As a male from Desolate Planet, he’d seen real darkness and had the sharpest combat instincts. His piercing eyes scanned every hospital staff member present, as if seeing right through them, his every nerve was tensed to the limit.
Target locked–Like a fierce wolf, Zayne shot forward, attacking a male nurse with lightning speed, his moves precise and decisive. After taking down one, he immediately turned to strike the second, delivering a fatal blow that incapacitated the target.
After taking down two, the remaining accomplices finally reacted. They couldn’t hide anymore and quickly removed their disguises, attacking Zayne all at once.
Surrounded by seven or eight people, Zayne showed no fear. Even when he was hit on the shoulder, it seemed like he didn’t feel the pain. Instead, he stormed forward like a raging storm, disarming one of his attackers.
It was as if the fight awakened his full bloodlust, his eyes burning with crimson battle intent, completely shedding the gentle demeanor he’d shown when with Nyx. The notorious violent medic from the army finally revealed his true nature.
The King’s Guards rushed in to assist

A stray bullet flew in, and Nyx felt a blur in front of her. Aurelius shielded her in his arms, preventing the attack. Once he had a weapon, Zayne quickly ended the battle.
Gasping for breath, his wolf–like, fierce eyes scanned the surroundings. Once he confirmed the enemies were all down, he walked toward Nyx under the stunned gazes of everyone.
Nyx was trembling all over. She had never seen Zayne in such a disheveled state–covered in blood, with messy hair sticking to his face, and his shoulder seemed to have a large wound.
Zayne seemed to belatedly realize how bloodied he was and stopped in his tracks, not getting any closer to Nyx. He was dirty. With so much blood, it would probably scare her.
He wanted to step back, but Nyx rushed towards him, trembling as she wrapped her arms around him, her whole body shaking.
Zayne’s chest rose and fell sharply. He wanted to raise his hand to comfort her by rubbing her back, but he was afraid the blood on his hands would get on her. After several moments of hesitation, he let his hand fall.
“It’s alright, Nyx, don’t be afraid.” His voice was hoarse from rapid breathing-
Watching the nearby teammates fail in their ambush, Lia completely lost her strength and collapsed, her limply.
Attacking an SSS–level female was an even more serious crime than assassinating royal family members.

The entire floor of the hospital was temporarily sealed off, and all involved individuals were immediately escorted to the Security Bureau and locked in the highest–level detention cells.
Other members of the Windsor family were also detained. Even Aurora’s hospital room was under tight surveillance with numerous Security Bureau personnel.
All of this was being personally handled by Crown Prince. He had everything arranged meticulously, including sending the most skilled royal doctors to check and treat Zayne’s wounds. But the most important thing was calming Nyx’s emotions.

The potion contained sedative ingredients, and Nyx fell asleep in Aurelius‘ arms, tears still clinging to her long eyelashes.
At the Security Bureau, Lia initially refused to cooperate. She flew into a rage when she heard the results of the interrogation. “Estrus inducer? How could that be? I just wanted to scare her into forcing her to treat Aurora–what would inducing her estrus do for me?”
The interrogator raised a small bag and showed her the syringe inside. “But every one of your accomplices has an estrus inducer hidden on them.”
