The door to Zayne’s bedroom was tightly shut, and no sounds could be heard from inside.

It seemed she wasn’t suited to taking care of someone with an injury. She couldn’t help with this kind of thing. Taking advantage of Zayne being occupied with his personal matters, Nyx slipped out of his room.
Theon and Felix were preparing dinner. Seeing Nyx emerge from Zayne’s bedroom with a flushed face and messy hair, Felix paused. Theon showed a surprised expression.
Forcing back the sourness, he didn’t ask what Nyx and Zayne had been doing but instead asked her opinion about dinner, “Nyx, is there anything else you’d like to eat tonight?”
“Anything’s fine,” Nyx nodded hurriedly and rushed over to the cupboard, grabbing a can of drink and gulping it down to relieve her flushed face and dry mouth.
Seeing her move quickly, as usual, both males expressions softened a bit. It seemed nothing had happened.
“Has His Highness left?” After calming down, Nyx looked around and realized she hadn’t seen Aurelius. Only then did she remember she had been so focused on staying by Zayne’s side that she had forgotten to say goodbye to Aurelius.
Aurelius had helped her a lot today, always busy looking out for her, but she had ignored him.
Nyx opened Intelligent Brain. Her chat with Aurelius was still on that morning’s message, where he had said the Loss of Control Index had dropped to 10 and asked if she wanted to go out again, hoping to thank her in person.
