After a bit of back–and–forth, seeing that the leopard was insistent on offering the gift, Nyx finally relented. “Fine. I’ll hold
onto it for you.”
A glint of satisfaction flashed in the leopard’s eyes as he leaned in to sniff her neck.
Her fair and soft neck emitted a sweet fragrance, and the leopard’s eyes half–closed in delight, his sharp teeth clenching and unclenching, tempted to bite down on the soft flesh of Nyx’s neck, but he hesitated.
She was too fragile. He wondered what he should feed his partner to make her stronger. A partner this fragile couldn’t handle him. The leopard shook its fur, troubled.
Having a wild beast pushing against the back of her neck, seemingly weighing how to strike, Nyx couldn’t help but shiver and finally shouted. “Theon!”
Come catch this leopard!‘ she thought.
Hearing Nyx’s call, the angry golden–haired lion roared and sped back, but missed again. That sly leopard had already vanished like the wind–gone without a trace.
After this lesson, for several days, as soon as Nyx went out during the day. Theon stayed by her side, never giving the leopard a chance. At night, Theon stayed outside Nyx’s window, not allowing the leopard to come near.
In the middle of the night, light rain began to fall. Nyx was woken by the sound of the rain and, looking out the window, saw that Theon was still outside, keeping watch.
“Do you want to come in and sleep?” She knocked on the window and waved at him. Although she felt a little shy about being alone with him in the room at night, she couldn’t let Theon stay out in the rain.
Theon seemed even more shy than she was. Hearing Nyx’s invitation, the innocent young male’s ears turned red and warm. He lowered his head, hesitating for a while before finally gathering the courage to crawl through the window into the bedroom.

“It was raining last night. Nyx asked me to come in to avoid the rain, Theon explained calmly.
Because of the rain, Nyx had slept in longer than usual and hadn’t woken up yet. She rarely let herself sleep in, and the males didn’t want to wake her up.
No one stopped her, and Nyx slept deeply, only waking up close to noon. By then, the rain had stopped, though the sky was still a bit gloomy. She felt all her muscles soft from sleep, sluggishly getting out of bed and sitting there, lost in thought.
Suddenly, there was a light tap on the window. Nyx’s heart skipped a beat, and her previously fuzzy mind instantly cleared. She turned to look–A large, fluffy leopard paw appeared in front of her.
