Chapter 1
My overbearing husband seems to have been heartbroken.
I woke up in the middle of the night and found him standing on the balcony, flipping through his phone while silently smoking.
I intended to enlighten him a bit, but as I approached, I realized that he was holding my phone.
I tiptoed, wanting to run away, but Kelvin Velazquez heard the noise.
He snorted coldly and said, “What are you afraid of?”
“Annabel, what wrongdoings did you commit?”
The balcony was not lit, and the dim light outlined his handsome figure. His voice, seemingly smiling but not, made my scalp tingle.
I have done many guilty things, but I just don’t know which one he is referring to.
A few days ago, after drinking too much alcohol, I watched a live stream and impulsively tipped the guy a fortune. I used his account.

I mustered

the courage and poured a glass of lemonade to hand it to him.
I took the opportunity to glance at the phone screen and was so scared that my heart almost stopped!
He was looking at the browsing history of my browser!
If it were me, even if I were hit by a car, I would still format my browsing history before passing out! Thinking back on those novels I had bookmarked, I wish I could just drop dead on the spot.
Kelvin’s well–defined fingers gently tapped on the screen of my phone, his voice neither hurried
nor slow.
“Two years into our marriage, I realized that I didn’t know you well enough.”
Of course he didn’t know me well. He only married me to upset Margaret. Didn’t he remember?

“Honey, you must be very tired after your business trip. Do you want to rest?”
I pitifully reached out my hand to Kelvin, hoping that he would return the phone to me.
Kelvin’s deep eyes narrowed slightly, with a hint of a cold smile at the corner of his mouth.
He ignored my plea and lightly swiped his finger to open my WhatsApp chat.
I was so nervous and my heart skipped a beat!
The top one of my WhatsApp chat was a streamer named Muscular Boy, who I recently liked.
He was a novice anchor, seemingly still a college student. He sang beautifully, but unfortunately,
his livestream room had a few fans.
With just one popular ticket, you can ask him to sing a song. Someone teased him and kept playing
“O Sole Mio” with just a few popular tickets.
As he sang on, his voice clearly became hoarse, and everyone in the live broadcast room couldn’t bear to watch anymore, asking him to stop singing.
His eyes turned red, but he insisted on singing all the songs.
It reminds me of myself being bullied by the foreman during the days of working part–time to
support my studies.
So I waved my little hand and gave him six consecutive airships, making me the top one fan on his
list.
The muscular boy reciprocated my kindness and proactively added me on WhatsApp.
Kelvin frowned and looked at the recent chat history. Muscular Boy said, “Good morning! I’m at the
gym!”
Muscular Boy: “Image of slightly lifted white vest revealing abs.jpg”
Me: “Boys, when you go out, be careful and stay safe.”
Me: “Are we home yet?”
Muscular Boy: “Any place without you is not considered home, sobbing.”

“Annabel, are you…,” Kelvin extinguished his cigarette, his gaze heavy as he looked at me, his voice lazy yet deadly, “thinking of getting a divorce?”
Ah?

Wasn’t it him who wanted a divorce?
