This time Adonis cuts him off by grabbing the front of his shirt and following me in through the front door, the door slamming
shut behind us.

Adonis drags him up the stairs and we stop in front of my sister’s room before I open the door and the violet–eyed boy shoves. him inside, quickly pulling the door shut again.
“What the fuck?” Octavia’s confused voice comes from inside.

“I tightened the screws on the locks. I call back and Adonis grins down at me, high–fiving me. “They won’t budge.”

“Peaky Blinders?” I question as I grin up at him.
“Peaky Blinders.” He confirms with a bright smile. We run away from the door and down to the kitchen.
“Should we really be meddling? Adonis questions as I dig snacks out of the cupboards and throw them to him before shoving a bag of popcorn in the microwave.
“One, it was your idea.” I give him a pointed look, hiding a grin at his sheepish smile as I walk to the fridge and grab the bottle of lemon ice tea, pouring two glasses before putting it back. “Two, of course not. It’s a terrible idea and it’s going to come back
to bite us in the ass.”
“I just have a concern.” He calls to me as he walks into the living room and dumps the snacks on the counter before coming
back into the kitchen.
Chapter 96
1 raise an eyebrow at him. “just one?”
“No, but I didn’t think you’d let me speak if I told you how many I actually have.”
1 chuckle at him, not missing his large sinile when he hears me. The microwave beeps and Adonis beats me to the cupboard. pulling out a bowl and pouring the popcorn in it. I grab the drinks and we make our way into the living room. We set the popcorn and ice tea down before flopping down on the couch, Peaky Blinders already on the tv screen, ready to be played. I grab the remote and press the button, the sound of the theme music filling our ears.
“I’m gay for Cillian Murphy.” Adonis blurts out as Thomas Shelby sits in the Garrison, soaking wet from the harsh rain of Birmingham. “And Cillian Murphy only.”
“Happy or sad?”
“Sad.”
“Okay. But I warn you, I’ll break your heart.”
“Already broken.”
“That was…depressingly beautiful..ish.” I mumble as if I hadn’t already seen the show, before turning my head to look at Adonis with a grin. “I’m gay for Zendaya and Zendaya only.”

The episode ends and he grabs the remote, looking for something else to watch.

I immediately perk up. “Yes!”
He chuckles and presses play, placing the remote down and relaxing back into the couch again.
We watch about half the movie before I sneak a glance up at Adonis, his eyes are focused on the tv and his mouth in a small smile. I bite my lip before shrugging and cuddling into his side.

We watch the movie for another few minutes before I speak up again. “You know, my mom was obsessed with Jason Todd.”
Adonis spares a quick glance down at me and gives me a soft smile. “Well, he is a badass. And hot.”
1 laugh loudly and shake my head. We love a man who’s comfortable enough with their own sexuality to admit other guys are hot without a second thought.
“I’ve always liked Hal.” I admit, twiddling unconsciously with his fingers. “He’s the best Green Lantern. Anyone who says otherwise, well, that’s their opinion.even if they’re fucking wrong.”
I grimace as Hal gets thrown into a building before being double–teamed. They shit on him so much in these movies, when he’s actually one of the hard–hitters of the Justice League.
