Valerie said, “I haven’t told him yet. Please help me keep it a secret.”
“Of course, I will.” Roderick nodded his head, still finding it unbelievable.“Aren’t you deeply in love with Terrence? Are you sure you want to leave him?”
Valerie had pursued Terrence for seven years.
She had put almost all her youth into it.
“I’m sure. I don’t want to love him anymore,” Valerie said casually.“After I leave, you’ll be dealing with the subsequent company equity divisio matters. Sorry. And thanks.”
“Don’t say that.” Roderick lowered his head, hiding the joy in his eyes. “You are my schoolmate! I was able to enter Tearie Entertainment because of your strong recommendation.”
Valerie looked at Roderick gratefully.
Although the company belonged to her, it was always Roderick who had been managing it.
If it weren’t for Roderick, the company would have probably gone bankrupt a long time ago.
After visiting the company once again, Valerie left.
Roderick walked her downstairs. He didn’t go back into the building until her car had completely disappeared from his sight.
In the car, Valerie took out her phone and crossed out the second–to–last item on her to–do list, which was to handle the division of the company’s equity.
And then, her gaze fell upon the last to–do thing.
Moving out of Foliage Villa.
After moving out of Foliage Villa, she and Terrence would have completely cut all ties.
Valerie drove the car in silence.
The atmosphere in the car became oppressive.
After she arrived at Foliage Villa, she went straight to the second floor.
The household servants, upon seeing Valerie return, seemed to be so indifferent. None of them came forward to greet her.
They all knew that Terrence didn’t love Valerie at all.
Since Valerie moved in, Terrence rarely came back here.
Valerie went to the guest room.
She and Terrence slept in separate rooms.
The wardrobe was filled with clothes from various major brands.
They were all given by Terrence.
Valerie, however, was not interested.
