Terrence’s gaze darkened.
Upstairs.
As soon as Valerie closed the door, she received a video chat request from Davion.
She soon answered the video call.
“Valerie, your father’s antiques have all been moved in. Take a look.” Davion waved his phone around.“What do you think? Is this villa good? It even has a temperature control system. See.”
Seeing her father’s antiques were carefully stored, Valerie gratefully said, “Thank Davion.”

“What for? It’s what I should do,” Davion took back his phone and asked Valerie over the phone.“By the way, Valerie, when are you coming back? Our Antique Restoration Center isn’t the same without you.”
Davion wasn’t complimenting her.
Valerie only worked in the Mural Restoration Department of the Antique Restoration Center for a few days. But everyone in the department, from the highest executive to the ordinary staff, spoke highly of Valerie. They would chase after Davion every day and ask when Valerie would return.
Valerie said, “I will go back as soon as I finish my work.”
“Then you
better hurry.” Davion urged. He chatted with Valerie about the things in the Antique Restoration Center for another half an hour. Then he finally hung up the phone.
Valerie held her phone and looked at the sky outside the window. She silently prayed that Kent would find the informant soon.
This way, she could leave Houston.
In the evening, Terrence was still at home.
This was
extraordinary.
She had never seen him at home for so long.
Valerie was very surprised, but she didn’t show it on her face.
She ate dinner quietly.
Terrence’s phone suddenly rang.
