The man’s gaze was intense, but he froze the moment he saw Valerie. Then, he coldly asked, “Where have you been? The questioning tone made Valerie frown with displeasure.
I had no obligation to tell you about my whereabouts.
She finished speaking and headed towards the second floor.
Terrence grabbed Valerie’s arm irritably and said, “Valerie, I was your boyfriend. Where did you go? Shouldn’t you
have told me?”
Valerie heard this and laughed.
Full of sarcasm.
“Did Mr. Crawford also know that it is customary for boyfriends and girlfriends to report their schedules to each other? Then why didn’t you ever think about reporting your schedule to me before?
Over the past four years, she came to know about her boyfriend’s whereabouts only through Margaret.
Terrence went to France to see Margaret every time.
Terrence paused for a moment.
He did not have the habit of reporting to others,
It was all others reporting to him.
So, he never felt that not reporting had any problem.

But when he finished the meeting and came back, Valerie was nowhere to be found.
I thought she had hidden again.
Valerie pushed away Terrence: “Mr. Crawford, we have broken up, so you are not my boyfriend, and I don’t need to report to you either.”

Terrence turned around, his icy gaze falling upon Kyra.
“What did you say?”
Kyra was startled by the hostility emanating from Terrence, but she still mustered the courage to speak up about Valerie being hospitalized.
