Chapter25
Terrence thought, “She hasn’t been back for several days?
“A few days ago, Kyra said Valerie was still in Foliage Villa.
“Could it be…”
Terrence became nervous. Then he walked quickly into the room and opened the wardrobe.
Looking at the wardrobe filled to the brim with clothes, he let out a sigh of relief slightly.
Her clothes were still there, indicating that Valerie had not left Houston.
As Terrence was about to leave, he suddenly thought of something and returned to check the wardrobe.
For the clothes in this wardrobe, Valerie had never touched.
Her things were placed in the wardrobe on the right side.
Terrence reached out and was about to open the right wardrobe door when his phone rang.
It was a call from Esteban.
He picked it up.
“What’s up?”
“Terrence, Margaret’s vital signs are getting weaker and weaker. Kidney transplantation needs to be put on the agenda as soon as possible. However, we haven’t found a suitable kidney source on our side…”
Terrence pinched his forehead and said, “I will contact the hospital director, asking him to find a suitable kidney source as soon as possible.” Esteban had more to say, but Terrence had already hung up.
Glancing at the wardrobe, Terrence turned around and left Valerie’s room. Then he dialed the number of the hospital director.
In the hospital.
Esteban hung up the phone and looked apologetically at Margaret lying on the bed. “I’m sorry, Margaret. Terrence hung up the phone before I could tell Terrence to come over.”
Margaret lay in bed, her pale face. She weakly shook her head and said, “It doesn’t matter. Terry is busy. I understand.”
“You…” Esteban hesitated and changed what he wanted to say.“Margaret, you are truly understanding.”
Margaret forced a smile, yet her eyes were filled with maliciousness.
She said to herself, “That bitch Valerie must have pestered Terry.
“I will kick her out sooner or later.”
At eight o’clock in the evening.
Valerie went downstairs on time and saw Ricky at the entrance of Scarlet Hotel.
