Chapter27
At two o’clock in the early morning.
Valerie got up from the bed.
She had a nightmare.
In the dream, Terrence’s tall figure curled up in a ball, and his cold gaze fixed on her with pain. “Valerie, stomach…ache…”
In the darkness Valerie touched her stomach.
Her stomach didn’t hurt, but she was a little hungry.
And, she especially wanted to eat tacos.
In her memory, there was a restaurant in Washington D.C. where the tacos were especially delicious. Valerie confirmed the restaurant location on the navigation map and excitedly went downstairs. She no longer had to be on a diet because of Terrence’s disdain for her weight.

Terrence narrowed his eyes.
Valerie always spoke gently and softly, even during their arguments.
Such a severity was unprecedented for Terrence.
“Valerie, you think you are tough now, huh? You dare to block me for such a long time.” Terrence snapped back as he recovered from the shock. Before, Valerie would pull him out of her blacklist within three days.
This time, it lasted a full 108 hours and 57 minutes.
Very well!
“Give me your phone.”
Valerie looked up at Terrence in front of her, who seemed so self–assured. She gave him a faint smile.“Terrence, this time I blocked you, and I never thought to add you back again. Let me go. I have something else to do.”
Terrence stared at Valerie’s struggling movements, feeling a bit annoyed.“Except for spinning around —
because you know I’m hospitalized with a stomach illness, and
