Valerie went to the National Academy of Sciences and met Davion, her father’s former colleague and alumnus.
He was also the head of the Antique Restoration Center.
Valerie also studied the restoration of cultural relics in college.
But because Terrence had a clean obsession, he didn’t like the taste of those repair materials.
After graduation, she rejected the offer of the Antique Restoration Center.
Then she moved into Foliage Villa and took care of Terrence.
She lived the life of a maid.
After returning to Washington D.C., Valerie had been thinking about re–entering the industry.
Today, she summoned up her courage and stepped into the Antique Restoration Center.
“Valerie, I have seen your final–year project. Although you were only responsible for restoring the artifact’s body, you did it perfectly, and it just looked like it had never been restored.
“I offered you the job after I saw your work back then.
“But you didn’t come.
“I was so upset.
“Now you finally came!
“Okay, you have to join us this time!”
Before Valerie could even speak, Davion eagerly offered her a position.
Valerie’s worries disappeared as she looked at Davion with deep gratitude.
“Okay, once I finish my things, I will come over to start working.”
Once she and Ricky got married, she could come to work.
From now on, she lived only for herself.
“No problem, the door is always open for you.” Davion’s joy was written all over his face, as he didn’t expect Valerie to agree so readily. “Then I will see you next time.” Valerie waved goodbye to Davion.
Getting into the car, Valerie didn’t know where to go.
She didn’t want to go back to the hotel.
As for her home, could it still be considered hers?
Valerie drove the car, aimlessly wandering around, and somehow ended up at the seaside.
Not far away, there was a newlywed couple taking wedding photos.
They must have been there the whole day.
Both of them had tired expressions on their faces.
But the smiles remained bright and happy.
