Chapter39
The bodyguard took out Ricky’s ID card and handed it to Valerie.
Valerie did not hesitate at all and directly handed their ID cards to the staff.
“We’re here to get married
These words, as if they had a magical power, went straight through the crowd and pierced into Terrence’s eardrums.
Terrence finally came to his senses, his cold gaze on the petite figure before the window.
The next second.
Terrence’s body reacted faster than his mind.
He strode quickly to Valerie’s back.
Terrence grabbed Valerie’s wrist and headed toward the City Hall entrance.
His grip was so tight.
Valerie couldn’t break free at all.
Terrence, let go of me! Let go of me!
Seeing this scene, the people around were all scared by the terrifying aura emanating from Terrence and didn’t dare to approach.
Seeing this, the bodyguard couldn’t help but ask, ‘Mr. Murray?”
Ricky raised his hand, indicating to the bodyguard not to interfere.
He had never intended to register with Valerie.
“Sir.”
The voice of the staff member behind Ricky sounded, “Your marriage license is issued.”
Ricky was surprised.
After Terrence took Valerie out of the City Hall, he felt troubled, so he lifted Valerie and stuffed her into the Audi,
“Go to the airport!”
Terrence’s chest heaved violently.
He didn’t care the person in the car wasn’t his man.
It was Ricky’s assistant.
Ricky’s assistant secretly glanced at Terrence through the rearview mirror,
Instantly, he was scared by Terrence’s cold face and reflexively responded, “Okay.”
Valerie, in the back seat, was held in the arms by Terrence.
She tried several times to break free but was held down by Terrence.
At the thought of having to return to Houston, the city that was filled with pain, she gained courage and bit down hard on Terrence’s arm. Terrence’s arms were muscular.
The muscles were well–toned.
They were rock–hard.
Terrence only let out a muffled groan.
But Valerie’s teeth ached.
Realizing that she couldn’t physically compete with Terrence, Valerie gave up struggling.
