Even before Valerie and Terrence started dating officially, rumors had already spread within their circle.

He irritably tugged at his collar and walked out of the private room.

Malcolm also felt strange. He raised his eyebrows, stood up, and walked out of the private room.
A few minutes later, he finally found Terrence on the balcony.
Terrence, framed against the bright moonlight, appeared somewhat desolate.
He walked over and turned his head to glance at Terrence’s resolute profile.“Are you not in a good mood tonight? It must not be because Valerie returned to Washington DC: So… is it because of Margaret?”
Terrence took a sip of wine from his goblet.“Why are you so sure it’s not because of Valerie?
“Because you must be the happiest when Valerie leaves.” Malcolm, like Terrence, had a superior face, but compared to Terrence’s rugged and cold features, his facial features were softer without giving off a sense of superiority or unapproachability. His tone was naturals Don’t you think Valerie is annoying?”
Terrence frowned. When did he ever think Valerie was annoying?
Seeing the confusion in his eyes, Malcolm said, “In the past, every time we had a gathering, Valerie would call you, and you always impatiently hung up the phone.”
