The images captured by the surveillance camera were crystal clear.
Even when zoomed in multiple times, the image didn’t distort.
As a result, Terrence could clearly see the figure in the footage staring ahead with a resentful gaze.
And right in front of her was Valerie.
Terrence felt a chill run down his spine. He had no idea that someone in Houston harbored such hatred for Valerie.
“Find out who this woman is!”
Valerie’s disappearance is probably related to this woman.
Malcolm just glanced at the picture and casually said, “No need. This woman is called Makenzie Carroll.”
“How do you know?”
Seeing Terrence’s surprised expression, Malcolm smiled, “This woman is Margaret’s best friend. You claim to love Margaret, and yet you don’t know her? That’s quite something.”
Terrence’s expression shifted at Malcolm’s words.
But right now, finding Valerie was the priority. He didn’t bother explaining to Malcolm that he didn’t love Margaret at all.
“Then why does she hate Valerie so much?”
Malcolm scratched his forehead.
Terrence’s emotional cluelessness was truly something else.
“Isn’t it obvious? If your best friend’s partner was stolen, wouldn’t you have a problem with the third wheel too?” Terrence replied flatly, “I wouldn’t.”
Malcolm was frustrated.
He shouldn’t have used Terrence as an example.
“Anyway…” He walked over to the sofa and sat down. “When I went to the restaurant to get the surveillance footage, I heard Makenzie and Valerie argue. Do you want to take a look?”
Terrence frowned.“Play it.”
Malcolm clicked his tongue at Terrence’s commanding tone while playing the video of Valerie and Makenzie’s
argument.
As Terrence watched Makenzie publicly accuse Valerie of being a mistress, the atmosphere around him turned icy
