Chapter9
Margaret’s face turned dark as she saw the car Valerie pointed at.
It was a much more expensive luxury car.
Its price was no less than ten million!
“Madam!” the manager shouted as he saw Margaret faint.
But a man moved faster than the manager and rushed to Margaret’s side, holding her tightly and quickly leaving.
It was Terrence, of course.
A mocking smile appeared on Valerie’s face.
Since Terrence had driven the car away, Valerie could only take a taxi back.
But it was difficult to hail a taxi near the 4S shop.
Valerie walked in high heels for a full hour before finally getting a taxi.
She got in the taxi and looked at her blistered feet, breathing a sigh of relief.
“Luckily, it’s my feet that are aching, not my heart,” she thought.
After the incident at the 4S shop, Valerie didn’t see Terrence for several days.
But she didn’t need to ask.
Margaret would report to her.
“9:05. Today, Terry personally fed me oatmeal.”
“18:23. This is the pomelo that Terry peeled for me. It looks so delicious. Do you want to try it? Well, unfortunately, you will never get the chance in your whole life.”
The picture below was peeled pomelos.
“22:35. Terry is sleeping next to me. See!”
The picture below was a photo of Terrence resting on his arms by Margaret’s bed.
Valerie glanced at these messages and then threw her phone into her bag.
Margaret had been sending Valerie messages about how intimate she was with Terrence these days. Maybe it was because Terrence had completely disappointed Valerie that Valerie only felt that Margaret was like a clown.
Getting out of the car, Valerie walked into Tearie Entertainment.
This company was jointly established by her and Terrence back then.
It was originally for her to establish a deeper connection with Terrence.
This way, Terrence would not easily break up.
Unexpectedly, it ended up becoming her restraint.
“You want to leave Houston and go back to Washington D.C. alone?” The vice president, Roderick Duncan, looked at Valerie in shock.“Does
Terrence know about this?”
