Terrence knew, of course, that Valerie was upset with him, not solely because he refused to marry her.
But that was the final straw.
And besides marrying her, Terrence couldn’t think of any other way.
He had been with Valerie for four years, and he had never once pampered Valerie.
So he didn’t know how to.

Valerie casually interrupted Terrence.
Terrence suddenly felt suffocated.
He lowered his head and looked at Valerie, a scene from the restaurant flashing through his mind. The jealousy that had been suppressed all night emerged and made him lose all of his rationality.
“So… It is all because of that young man?”
Valerie was startled for a moment.
It took a few seconds for her to realize what he was talking about, and her gaze gradually became mocking, “Did you follow me?”
Terrence didn’t know what to say.
He was indeed tracking Valerie.
Because he was worried that Valerie would disappear again.

Terrence was stupefied.
When he came back to his senses, he heard a loud bang coming from the second floor.
He looked up and gazed at the tightly closed door with his deep and icy eyes filled with anger.
Valerie went back to her room.
She closed the door and let out a long breath.
It was impossible for her to be with Terrence anymore.
Suddenly, a buzz came.
It was her phone ringing in her bag.
