Why did he spend the whole day at home?
She was so hungry that she didn’t bother to mind Terrence. She picked up a fork and started eating.
After she took a bite, Terrence said, “We can’t leave Houston for now. But if you want to go on a trip, I can ask Ernest to help.”
Valerie paused.
Did Terrence want to take her out for fun?
Valerie soon gave up on the thought.
She dated Terrence for four years.
Half of the time, Terrence was in France.
As for the remaining time, Terrence spent it all at the company management.
He had no time to go out with her.
To be precise, he simply didn’t want to go out with her at all.
In the second year of their relationship, Terrence was quite busy. She spent a week making a travel plan to Japan.
She had bought their plane tickets but Terrence rejected her heartlessly.

“Terrence, shut up! No speaking while eating. Don’t you understand?”
Terrence was stunned.
Terrence kept quiet. Valerie’s mood noticeably improved.
Terrence frowned as he watched Valerie curl her lips.
Valerie used to enjoy talking to him.
After finishing the meal, Valerie went upstairs again. Terrence didn’t have a chance to speak.
Her thin and slender figure suggested she refused to talk.
