Chapter 1
Rosalie Lima was known throughout LA’s elite circles as the perfect daughter. The most rebellious thing she’d ever done was secretly dating her brother’s sworn enemy for three years and allowing him to record countless intimate videos of their encounters.
In his Bentley Flying Spur, Dante Wolf had once again undressed her while remaining fully clothed himself, his phone strategically positioned nearby. His lips traced her collarbone, sending shivers down her spine and leaving a trail of marks.
“Dante,” she whispered softly, “can we…. stop with the recordings?”
Dante paused briefly, then chuckled. He lifted his head, his dark eyes reflecting her face with a miz
of possessiveness and amusement. “Getting camera shy on me now?”
“Relax, they’ll never get out. I just like having something to watch when I miss you. Come on, baby,
do this for me? Just this once?”
That “baby” melted her resistance, her ears burning as she found herself yielding to his voice, unable to form any further objections.
Dante’s kiss returned with dominating intensity, gradually consuming what remained of her rational thought. The temperature in the luxury sedan rose steadily as his movements grew more forceful, as if he wanted to claim her entirely. Rosalie’s breathing quickened, her fingers instinctively digging
into his shoulders.
When it finally ended, the car stopped shaking.
Rosalie had just reached her peak, sitting on his lap, feeling completely drained.
Dante calmly fastened his belt, glanced down at her, and carelessly ruffled her hair. “I’ve got a meeting with the guys. The driver will take you home, and maybe I’ll swing by later, cool?”
Rosalie nodded, her voice barely audible. “Okay.”
After Dante left, Rosalie dressed herself, still feeling disoriented. Just as she was about to instruct the driver to take her home, she noticed Dante had left his cardholder on the seat.
She quickly grabbed it and hurried after him. After asking where his meeting was, she made her way to the private room at the upscale restaurant.

The door was slightly ajar. Rosalie was about to enter when she heard raucous laughter from inside.
“Damn, Wolf, you were really going at it!” came a voice she recognized as Marcus, one of Dante’s friends. “The whole Bentley was rocking when I walked by. Can you imagine how Alistair Lima would lose his shit if he knew his precious sister was so wild with you?”
Rosalie froze, feeling as if she’d been struck by lightning.
“Fuck yeah!” That was Tyler, another of Dante’s inner circle. “Wolf and Lima have been enemies for years. Wolf wouldn’t have orchestrated that whole ‘knight in shining armor‘ rescue of Lima’s sister if he wasn’t planning the ultimate payback.”
“How many videos have you collected now–over a hundred?” Jason’s voice was slick with anticipation. “When are you going to drop them, Wolf? I’m dying to see Little Miss Perfect naked and begging, but more than that, I can’t wait to see Alistair’s face when his sister’s sex tapes go viral!”
They continued their crude conversation, completely unaware of her presence outside the door.
Rosalie’s mind went blank, her ears ringing. Their vile words echoed in her head, growing louder until they thundered through her skull.
Dante… had planned that rescue? Their entire relationship was just revenge against her brother?
“You’re quiet, Wolf.” Marcus again. “You only approached Rosalie to get back at Alistair, to make
him stop challenging your territory in New York. Don’t tell me you’ve actually caught feelings for his
sister?”
“Feelings?” The man who had just called her “baby” sat at the head of the table, lazily sipping his whiskey. His lips curved into a cold smirk. “Alistair Lima is my fucking enemy. I only want to
destroy him. I’m just deciding when to release those videos for maximum damage. How about on Rosalie’s birthday? I bet Alistair’s face when he sees his perfect little sister begging for it will be…
priceless.”
“You savage bastard!” Tyler howled with laughter.
The group erupted in crude jokes and anticipatory excitement.
Rosalie’s fingers trembled; she could barely stand.
Suddenly, a waiter’s voice came from beside her: “Miss, are you going in?”
Rosalie snapped back to reality, hastily handing him the cardholder. “I… I’m not. Please give this to

Dante Wolf and just say someone found it. Don’t tell him I was here.
With that, she turned and ran tears streaming down her face as Dante’s cold words echoed in her
*Alistair Lima is my fucking enemy. I only want to destroy him.
Her heart felt like it was being crushed by an invisible hand, making it hard to breathe
So their meeting had been a calculated setup from the very beginning!
Years ago, Rosalie had moved to New York for college against her brother’s wishes, drawn by Juilliard’s world renowned dance program. After graduation, she stayed, resisting her brother’s pleas to return to Los Angeles. Her parents had always spoiled her, and her brother was overprotective–she wanted to make a name for herself on her own terms.
Dance was everything to her, until she met Dante Wolf, her brother’s infamous rival. Rumor had it they’d been fighting over real estate developments and business ventures for years, their rivalry bitter and unrelenting.
Yet this man had saved her twice.
The first time, she’d been hit by a car in a hit–and–run. While others ignored her cries for help as she lay bleeding on a Manhattan street, Dante had pulled up in his Bentley and carried her away like
some dark guardian angel.
The second time, someone had drugged her drink at a gallery opening, and she was about to be
assaulted when Dante intervened, carrying her to safety. That night, he became her antidote.
The next morning, when she awoke in his penthouse, he was standing by the floor–to–ceiling
windows overlooking Central Park, casually buttoning his designer shirt. Hearing her stir, he turned, his predatory eyes almost paralyzing her.
He leaned down, drawing closer. “Been wanting to ask since I first saw you–you’ve got a thing for
me, don’t you?”
Her mind went blank as she stared at his impossibly handsome face, stammering wordlessly. He simply smirked: “No? Then why do you blush every time you see me? And why were you kissing me this morning? The drugs were out of your system by then, weren’t they?”
She tried to flee in embarrassment, but he pulled her back, his eyes darkening with desire as he captured her lips in a possessive kiss.

After that day, they became a couple.
For three years, she believed their love was mutual Countless times she had imagined bringing him back to LA to meet her brother, convinced that with her intervention, they could turn their bitter rivalry into an alliance. Now, she realized how pathetically naive she’d been.
She ran until rain began to fall, and her phone rang in her pocket.
It was her brother. She took a deep breath before answering.
“Rosie, I’ve secured the perfect space for your dance studio in LA–it’s the largest in the city. And I’ve met someone I think would be perfect for you. Whatever’s keeping you in New York, it’s time to let it go. You know Mom, Dad and I hate having you so far away–we need you here in LA, with your family where you belong…”
At the sound of Alistair’s familiar voice, Rosalie could no longer hold back her tears.
Fighting back sobs, she nodded.
“I’m sorry for worrying you all these years, Ali. I’ll come home to Los Angeles, and I’ll meet whoever you want me to.”
