I remembered back in the day, I used to dream with him about our future kids. If we had a girl, I was determined to spoil her into the happiest little princess in the world. If it was a boy, I’d make sure he grew up to be as formidable as Julian.
When I spoke those words, my eyes sparkled with hope for what was to come. I even sketched countless drawings of what our future child would look like. But the moment I handed those
drawings to him, he tore them to shreds and tossed them into
the fireplace. He coldly told me he could have kids with
but it would never be with me.
He urged me to stop dreaming such unrealistic dreams.
anyone,
Thinking back on it now, a hint of bitterness could be seen in Julian’s eyes. The one who wanted to have kids and dream those
dreams with me had now become him.
Just then, there was a knock on the study door.“Sir, the car is ready.” Julian quickly grabbed the gift from his desk and headed. out. On the way to the airport, he leaned back in his seat, closing his eyes to gather his thoughts, rehearsing what he would say when he saw me.
But suddenly, a blinding white light flashed towards their car!
With a screech of brakes and a violent crash, the impact sent
Julian soaring in the back seat, his head slamming against the
roof and the front seat!
Shards of glass sliced into his skin, drawing forth blood.
“Bang!”
The car was hurled by a truck, crashing hard to the ground!

Blood gushed from Julian.
In that moment, he felt no pain, just a sense of loss. He couldn’t see me, nor could he meet our daughter who looked so much like me.
Screams, the wail of ambulances, and police sirens blended into chaos. In the car, Julian felt himself growing increasingly drowsy, until finally, he could hear nothing at all.
In the hospital, the Black family waited anxiously outside the operating room. Each face was etched with worry. The clock on the wall ticked away the seconds. As dawn broke outside, the operating room door swung open.
The doctor’s expression was troubled, and after a long pause, he finally spoke: concussion, multiple fractures, but the most serious issue was the brain hemorrhage caused by the accident, pressing on vital nerves, making surgery risky; they could only wait for the blood to dissipate on its own.
Until then, Julian would have to exist in a vegetative state. Upon hearing this, Julian’s mother nearly fainted, her eyes rolling
back.
After a long silence, she finally asked, “Who hit him? Where are
they?”
The butler replied, “The truck driver died at the scene, but…”
“But what? Spit it out!” Julian’s mother’s face was a mask of anger and impatience, causing the butler to flinch.
He steeled himself and continued, “But our people found out the mastermind behind it all–it’s the Reed family.“”They sent someone to run over the young master because of Olivia in prison.”

The moment she heard this, Mrs. Parker understood everything. The Reeds had had caused chaos at the Parker household. At their worst, they even sent Julian’s mother and father to the hospital.
When Julian returned home, he had ruthlessly severed ties, nearly bringing the Reed family to ruin. Key figures in the Wen family ended up in jail or the hospital. That was why the Parker family never expected the Reed family would still have a trick up their sleeve.
Just thinking about it made Mrs.Parker feel cursed. So when the prison guards brought the shackled Olivia into the
interrogation room, Mrs.Parker could no longer hold back and slapped her hard.
“You bitch!”
