With that thought, a cold glint entered his eyes. No matter what I did, he wouldn’t love me. His life belonged to Olivia, and only

Realizing this, he pushed away his unsettling thoughts and focused on his bride, speaking solemnly.
“Olivia, whether in poverty or wealth, in health or sickness, I vow to take you as my wife and never leave you. In this life and the next, you will only ever be my wife.”
His heartfelt confession made Olivia’s eyes well up with tears, and she responded with deep affection, passionately kissing

The wedding went off without a hitch. All the things Julian worried about never happened. The wedding–crashing scenario he anticipated didn’t occur, and his bride was perfectly fine throughout, showing no signs of discomfort. Even he received compliments from friends, saying he was more attentive today than ever before.
But only Julian knew he wasn’t truly focused on the wedding. There was a figure in his mind that kept surfacing, disrupting
his thoughts.
While Olivia rested in their room, Julian had his phone
retrieved. The moment he saw the red exclamation point next

He rubbed his temples and dialed my number. The moment the
call connected, he had his speech ready.“Jane, you…”
“We’re sorry, but the number you have dialed is currently unavailable. Please try again later…”
“BANG!”
Julian slammed the phone down on the table.
Alright, alright! Jane, you really did it! How dare you block me!
Julian decided to stop worrying about me; after all, when the time came for him to pick me up, I’d still come back obediently.
Because I love him so much, even if he’s married, I wouldn’t be
able to leave him.
With that thought, Julian’s expression softened. He dialed
another number.
“Find out where Jane has gone to. Once you find out, go take care of her.”
That night, after tucking Olivia into bed, Julian’s door was knocked on.
Making sure Olivia remained asleep, he went to the study. But just as he closed the door, Olivia suddenly opened her eyes.
In the study, Julian’s face turned grim.
“Say that again–where did she go?”
His assistant swallowed hard. “We checked all the travel records
in the city, but we couldn’t find any trace of Ms. Smith. All her domestic identification has been canceled… We suspect she left

Julian was stunned into silence by the assistant’s barrage of
