Mr. Greg couldn’t help but chuckled out loud at Sia. With her around, life in the mansion would definitely be very interesting.
At the prestige D.E Group headquarters, Sebastian took the CEO’s exclusive elevator upstairs. He turned. on the surveillance camera in the office on the top floor and studied the man sitting in the conference
room.
“Alex, I need to use a voice changer to have a ‘nice‘ chat with Nathan.” Sebastian notified his assistant.
Sitting in the conference room, Nathan’s patience was about to running thin until a voice finally rang out through the mic.
“Greetings, Mr. Sinclair.” The voice was robotic and cold with no hint of emotion.
“Hello, Mr President of D.E. I believe your assistant has already inform you about the reason I’m here.”
“He did, and my answer remains the same. I won’t sell the land. And if you want me to spare the Blackwood Corporation, you should hand over 30% of the shares in exchange, otherwise I’ll bring the company down.”
Nathan couldn’t believe his ears at Sebastian’s words.
Corps? “Can you tell me who you are? Why are you doing this to me and the Blackwood Corp
“Mr. Sinclair, you’re not worthy of knowing who I am.”
Sebastian ended the meeting with the curt remark and turned off the mic. He plan to make them pay for all the pain and humiliation Sia went through bit by bit.
Back in the Pinecrest mansion, Sia was eating her dinner alone watching the news channels, the anchorwoman’s voice rang loud through the speakers as she carried on with the report.
[Can you believe that?! The lady worked as a full time house wife for years, and for a very long time she depended solely on the husband’s income. To cut the story short, she was abandoned in the end!]
Watching this, Sia suddenly felt attacked. She was here lazing around at home while even at this late at night, Sebastian had not yet returned. Whatever he left to deal with must be lot of work.
But that couldn’t be said on her part. She logged off her chats and dialed Bella’s number. Her friend answered on the first ring.
“Hello Bells, what are you up to?”

“I’ve just arrived at the dance music studio about to go to class. Are you feeling better?”
“I’m fine. Vivienne haven’t done much damage. Listen, you once mentioned before that the dance music studio is recruiting workers, right?”
“Oh yeah. That’s right, they’re still recruiting.”
“Great!” Sia chirped, “I’ll come over now for an interview right away.”
She hung up the phone without waiting for Bella’s reply. Sia exchanged greetings with the housekeepers on her way out of the mansion as she headed out for the dance music studio excitedly.
She had excelled in the dance field and was the best in their department. It wasn’t hard for her to secure the job after her interview.
When Sebastian finally returned to Pinecrest Heights at 9:30, he entered the mansion thinking about his little kitten, whom he expected to be waiting for him by the door. But when he was met with an empty house, with no one but his old butler to welcome him, Sebastian was confused.
“Where’s Sia?” He asked Mr. Greg.
“Ms Blackwood went out right after dinner, Sir.”
“Did she tell you where she went?” Sebastian asked, losing the smile on his face.
“No. But she had a phone call with a friend and went for their class reunion.” Mr. Greg explained to the best of his ability.
“Your scar is a bit frightening sir, in case you’re thinking about going after her. Ms Blackwood might not…” He cut himself short before he say something inappropriate.
But it was too late, Sebastian’s expression darkened, his eyes turning cold.
“Whatever. I wasn’t planning to.” Sebastian exclaimed, but instead of heading upstairs, he sat in the living room waiting for Sia’s return.
When the clock struck 10pm, Sia and Bella finally got off from work together. During their spare time, Sia had narrated to Bella all the things that happened in the past few days.
“Forgive me for saying this Sia, but your parents are really cruel. That’s inhumane!” Bella said seething.
“I know,” Sia patted her friend’s shoulder. “Why do you think I cut off my relationship with them? I have only myself to rely on from now on.”
“I’m right here with you, don’t forget that.”

“Of course, I have you by my side.”
“Are really going to be with Sebastian though? Will you be alright with him?”
“I’m certain Bells. Sebastian is a very good person, I’ve witnessed that first hand. But enough about me. What about you? The news about your biological parents, did you find anything on that?”
“It wasn’t that easy, but I’m still working on it.”
The two chatted happily on their way back with no regards to the passage of time. And by the time Sia returned to Pinecrest Heights, it was already 11pm.
Pushing open the door of the mansion, she was met with darkness. Sia thought that Sebastian had already retired upstairs tor sleep, so she sneaked in silently heading to her room careful not to make
noise.
