Chapter 22
Sia’s face paled at Sebastian’s suggestion. She’ve been nauseous and tired throughout the day, but blamed
it on accumulated stress. But now that Sebastian mention sickness, what came to her mind was
pregnancy. That night, at the hotel, Sia didn’t eat pills, nor did Sebastian used protection.
“Maybe I’m just homesick. Shall we go back home now?”
“Alright, kitten. I’ll inform Mr. Greg and have the cook prepare a soup for you.” Sebastian agreed without much thought and drove them to the airport.
All the while, Sia was lost in thoughts. She might be wrong, but just to be safe, she made a mental note to
visit the hospital for check up as soon as they return.
They arrived two hours later, Sia was fast asleep in her seat. She look so tired and peaceful that Sebastian
didn’t want to wake her up, instead he carried her to her room.
“Welcome home sir. The soup you asked for is ready. Should I bring it up?” Mr. Greg said with a bow.
“No need, Mr. Greg. Let her rest first.”
Sebastian whispered softly, afraid he might wake her up if he raised his voice. Mr. Greg understood, he
nod his head and silently left.
Sebastian leaned down and placed a lingering kiss on her pouty lips. He had made the right decision to send a guard after her.
Sia slept comfortably for the first time in days. When she woke up the next day, it was already noon. She didn’t even hear Sebastian’s movement besides her even when he left. It was the weekend again. Sia decided to use her free time to visit the hospital for check up.
Sia left to the hospital without informing anyone where she was going. She went straight to the
gynecology department for her pregnancy test.
“Payment are made on the lobby of the first floor. You’re number 22, Ms Blackwood.” The receptionist chirped, moving to the next person.
“Right, thank you.” Sia collected the payment slip and went to the first floor to make her payment, then
headed upstairs to wait for her turn.
“Anastasia?” Sia whipped her head up at the mention of her name. She didn’t expect to run into anyone she knew at the hospital. And certainly she didn’t expect to meet Nathan who was coming down from the second floor looking quite surprised.

Chapter 22
He is the last person Sia wanted to see at the moment, nothing good comes from associating with him. She turned her head away and hurried past him, blatantly ignoring his presence.
Nathan increased his pace catching up with her, he placed himself in her path halting her escape.
“Step aside Nathan, I have more pressing needs than entertaining your taunts.” Sía moved around him, but he moved in that direction as well. When she move right, he follows, when she move left, he follows
as well.
“What the hell is your problem?!” She exclaimed fed up with his antics.
“Why are you ignoring me? Aren’t you here to see Rose?”
“Rose? Why would I want to see her? I’ve cut off ties with the Blackwoods, why would I hang around them? You should know that if anything happens to Rosalind, I’ll be the first person to rejoice. Now get
out of my way!”
“If you’re not here to see Rose, then what brought you to the hospital? Are you sick?”
Nathan’s asked genuinely confused. He caught sight of the payment slip in her hand and snatch it out. His expression morphed from confusion to anger as he read the content.
“Are you pregnant? His eyes darted to her stomach which was flat without the slightest bump visible.
“None of your fucking business, Nathan! Give it back. If you want to stick your nose somewhere, I’m sure Rose would be thrilled to direct you, leave me alone.”
Sia’s words barely left her mouth when Nathan’s arms flew towards her.
“Answer me!” He roared, grabbing her shoulders and invading her personal space.
“What if I’m pregnant? Would you let me go if I answer you?” Sia replied matching his anger. She snatched back the slip and put a distance between them.
“Who is the father Sia? You’re barely legal and already having a baby?”
“I’m 18, thank you very much.”
“You have you even ever loved me? We broke up in less than a month and you’ve already moved to someone else? What do you even know about Sebastian?”
“Not everyone is despicable as you are, Nathan.” Sia said shrugging.
“You deserve some credits though. If it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t have met Sebastian, and look at me now.” She twirled a strand of her hair between her fingers. “I don’t think I’ve ever been this happy when we were together. You should be ashamed.”

Nathan’s hand had somehow found it’s way back on her shoulders. He was trying real hard to contain his anger that made his hands shake with tremors. He truly did love Sia, but she lied to him. So he left her for Rosalind, who he believed was honest, but his feelings for Sia had never changed.
“This isn’t right, Sia. We’ve been together for two years, I know exactly what you want, and this isn’t it. How can you throw away your dreams like this!?” Nathan shook his head, as if it was all crazy and he couldn’t believe what was happening.
