Chapter 27
Sia’s finger lingered on the end button when she heard Nathan’s words.
“You left your grandfather’s crystal pendant at the Blackwoods mansion. I have it with me.” Nathan explained.
“Give the it to Bella, she’ll drop it to me later.”
“If you really want to see the necklace again, just do as I say. Let’s meet and I’ll give it to
you.”
Sia clenched her hands to a fist. The crystal pendant is the last thing she have from her grandfather, she can’t sacrifice it because of Nathan.
“I’m busy today. Let’s meet up tomorrow.”
“Why, tomorrow of course. But don’t say I didn’t warn you if anything happens to it by then.”
“Nathan!”
“That’s my name.”
“Send the address. I’ll meet you when I can.”
Sia gritted her teeth and end the call.
It was still mid–day. She would be able to meet up with him and returned back to the mansion in time for their dinner with the Sterlings.
Sia made up her mind and went to get dressed.
Sebastian was sitting in his office when he was informed about Sia’s meeting with Nathan.
“Do you think I’m not good enough to Anastasia?” Sebastian suddenly exclaimed with a sullen expression. Alex, sitting on the couch was confused.
“Sir, I think Ms Blackwood is naive and can easily be tricked.”
“Nonsense!” Sebastian roared, swiping at the documents on his desk to the ground.
“Don’t try to defend her. She went to meet Nathan without telling me. She isn’t tricked, she’s cheating on me!”
Sebastian sat back in his witha dark chuckle. “What a surprise indeed.”
The Millonare’s Unforgivable Mistake
Chapter 27
Alex’s entire body broke out in cold sweat. He’s never seen his boss this angry.
Sebastian took out his car key from the drawer and strode out of the office.
The venue of their appointment was a coffee shop. When Sia arrived, Nathan was already waiting.
“Where’s the crystal pendant? I’m here, so hand it over.” Sia said standing by the empty chair.
Nathan had expected Sia to be heartbroken and hurt after their breakup. She was only a girl after all. But Sia only looked more refresh every time he saw her.
“It’s here,” He tapped a black box with his finger. “Have a drink with me for five minutes, Sia.”
Nathan kept his promise and handed over the jade pendant. Sia took back her necklace and turned to leave, but stopped when he grabbed her hand.
“I’ve been having dreams of you a lot, Sia. Of when we first met.”
“Too bad it’s all over.”
“You can’t say that, Sia. It doesn’t have to be that way. I refuse to believe you’ve moved on so soon. You still love me, we can start over. I don’t mind that you’ve slept with someone else as long as we abort the baby, everything would return back to normal.”
“Abort the baby and start over? Are you even listening to yourself? What about Rose then?” Sia sneered.
“Rose…” He shook his head.
“I can’t loose Rose. Except for the position of wife, I will give you anything else. We can go back to the way – we were before.”
Sia took a deep breath and yanked her hand out of his hold.
“I’m already regretting the two years I’ve spent together with you Nathan.”
“Really! Thank you for giving me another chance, Sia.”
“Did you not hear what I said? I would never get back with you!”
Sia was confused at his words. He surely haven’t misheard her.
Nathan did not say a word, simply smiling and stood up from his seat and did the unexpected. Nathan engulfed her in a strong hug.
“What are you doing! Let me go you bastard!”
Chapter 27,
Sia struggled but he only tightened his hold over her.
The shop’s door was slammed open with a loud bang as Sebastian knocked it open with all his might and stormed towards Sia, punching Nathan so hard he stumbled back, disoriented.
Sia fell back from the force of the punch and fell right into Sebastian’s waiting arm.
“Seb–Sebastian? How did you..?”
“Is this the surprise you had prepared for me?”
Sebastian’s voice was cold and steady. His expression was closed off no matter how hard Sia tried to read his emotion, she was blocked. Almost as if a wall was built between them.
“You actually dare to hit me?” Nathan asked in disbelief.
Sebastian wasn’t even satisfied with one punch, so calmly, he strode forward and grabbed his tie. Nathan. tried to pull back, but Sebastian’s fist was fast, connecting with th side of his face, and if he wasn’t holding him by the tie, he would have flew into the tables.
“Sebastian!” Sia grabbed his arm before he could deal a fatal blow to Nathan and got sent jail. “You’ve taught him enough lesson. Anymore and you’ll kill him, okay? Please, I don’t want you to be injured because of me.”
She wrapped her arms tightly around his waist, hopping he’d listen to her and stop. Sebastian felt a little better when he realized Sia wasn’t worried about Nathan but him. He let go of Nathan’s tie, dropping him to the ground and turned to face Sia.
