Constance’s voice was anxious on the phone.

An unknown phone number was displayed on the screen.
Normally she wouldn’t answer calls from unknown numbers, but it was a special time now, and she chose to answer.
“Juliette, it’s me, your dad.” Mason’s voice came from the phone.
Juliette frowned. Mason’s call came in so quickly.
“Your sister was shopping this morning and ran into Louis. She invited him over. Louis’s been asking for you. I thought maybe you could come and pick him up.”
Juliette narrowed her eyes slightly. The Vaughn family had taken Louis, claiming to have invited him over.
She knew Mason wouldn’t let her go easily because she destroyed Bianca.
