“Are you seriously telling me what to do?” Juliette asked, her cold gaze swept over him.
Juliette’s eyes were icy and distant, carrying a chilling intensity that seemed straight out of hell. For a brief moment, Evan felt a flicker of panic.
But…what the hell am I panicking for? Juliette’s just a woman. It comes to a fight, she won’t stand a chance against me,” Evan thought.
Juliette said. “If you have the guts, say at the auction that this coffee set was won for Bianca!
“Stop saying it was for me, only to turn around and make me give it to her. Do I look like some idiot to you?”
“Is what you said about wanting to marry me true or not?” Juliette turned to Finn, her voice soft but filled with fragility.
Juliette was the one throwing punches, yet somehow, she seemed like the one who’d been hurt.
Finn closed his eyes briefly. That slap had set his anger ablaze, but now wasn’t the time to lose his cool with Juliette
The Montgomery family had long been overshadowed by the three most powerful families. If Finn chose to marry one of their heiresses, the risk of his family being swallowed whole would be immense.
But choosing the Vaughn family was a different story. The Vaughns were weaker than the Montgomerys, and Juliette loved him obsessively.
That slap she’d just delivered was proof enough–Juliette was jealous because Finn wanted to give the coffee set to Bianca.
A woman like Juliette, blinded by love and lacking rationality, would be easy to control.
Understanding this, Finn opened his eyes, his gaze brimming with tenderness.
“Of course it’s true,” Finn said softly. “Tm the heir to the Montgomery family. Who I marry is entirely up to me, as long as 1 love her.”
Finn took Juliette’s hand, his tone dripping with sincerity. I’ve always seen how much you care for Bianca, so I thought it’d be a nice gesture to give her the coffee set.
“That was my mistake. I assumed we were already one, that I could make decisions for you. Please forgive me, Juliette.” Juliette’s heart filled with cold amusement. She’d known all along that even after slapping Finn, he’d still apologize. Moreover, Finn had to–for her family’s resources and for the reputation of being devoted.
But one thing puzzled Juliette. If Finn and Bianca were truly involved, why didn’t they just marry each other? Juliette thought, ‘Bianca stands to gain far more from the Vaught family than I ever would Unless… it’s part of some grander
scheme.
Is Finn’s goal me, while Bianca’s is Evan? Are they attacking the Vaughns from two sides, aiming to take over completely? Or is it something else…..
Juliette, I don’t need the coffee set,” Bianca chimed in, her voice soft and pitiful. “It was a gift from Finn to you. Please don’t be mad at him because of me.

Juliette’s expression turned cold. “My fiancé apologized well enough. I wasn’t planning on staying angry. But since you’ve put it that way, I suppose I should reconsider. After all, it does feel rather insulting for a woman to be ignored by her fiancé like that, doesn’t it?”
Bianca blinked, momentarily at a loss for words.
Juliette raised a brow at Finn, her gaze suddenly playful and enticing. “Want me to forgive you? Fine. Let’s see how you. handle this.”
This side of Juliette–a fiery spark in her eyes–caught Finn off guard.
Finn had never seen her like this before, and without realizing it, he leaned closer. “What does Juliette want me to do? I’ll do whatever you say
“For example,” Juliette said with a sweet, casual smile, “you could tell my sister Bianca that she’s too ugly for you to ever be interested in her, so she shouldn’t waste her time having a crush on you”
Bianca froze, her face twitching in disbelief.
“I’d never be interested in her. You’re going to be my wife. She’s my sister–in–law,” Finn said with a soft laugh. Juliette, don’t say things like that. It’ll hurt your relationship with her.”
“If you’re not interested, then what if she’s interested in you? Wouldn’t it be better to make things clear now?” Juliette asked.
Juliette stepped back, putting distance between them as if she wouldn’t forgive him unless he did exactly.
Evan, who had been silent until now, finally snapped. Juliette, that’s enough! What you’re doing is humiliating Bianca. She’s our sister!
“Our Juliette’s lips curled into a faint smile. At this moment, Evan’s actually grouping himself with me, saying “our” for Bianca’s sake.
Juliette drawled, her tone lazy and mocking. “Well… how is it humiliating? I’m just asking Finn to say it.
“True love means seeing your partner as the only one who matters, right? Every other woman is just background noise.
“If Finn really has no interest in Bianca, then saying something like this shouldn’t be a problem, don’t you think? Unless…” Juliette left the sentence hanging, her gaze flitting meaningfully between the three of them.
Meanwhile, Bianca bit her lip, her eyes red and brimming with tears. “There’s nothing between Finn and me. It’s fine, Finn. Just say it. I’ve always known I’m not as pretty as Juliette.”
Bianca’s sacrificial tone made Finn’s heart ache.
At the same time, it deepened his resentment toward Juliette. Forcing him to say such cruel words to the woman he cared about-how dare she.
“That’s fine. Once we’re married, I’ll have plenty of opportunities to make Juliette pay. She’ll learn the consequences of pushing me too far, Finn thought.
“Bianca, you’re too ugly for me to ever be interested in you. I only love Juliette, and I’ll be her husband for the rest of my life, Finn said coldly.
Are you satisfied now, Juliette? Finn’s tone was warm, but Juliette could see the hatred burning in his eyes.

“How can you ask if I’m satisfied? Isn’t drawing boundaries with Bianca something you should’ve done ages ago? Do I really have to remind you? Finn, as a fiance, you’re not doing a great job. Juliette said sweetly.
Unexpectedly. Finn pinched her cheek, his smile sharp and mocking. “You’re being naughty.”
Juliette grabbed his wrist, almost twisting it out of reflex. She barely stopped herself in time and instead grinned flirtatiously.
Juliette answered, “They say the naughtier the girl, the more a man loves her. With me being this naughty, don’t you love me even more?”
Finn’s eyes flickered. He’d always known Juliette was beautiful, but her beauty had seemed dull, lifeless.
Yet now, with that mischievous smile and playful tone, Finn felt an unexpected desire.
‘Damn it. How can I be attracted to her like this? Finn muttered
I love you no matter what,” Finn said, his voice steady.
Bianca’s tears finally spilled over as she ran into the house, colliding with Mason Vaughn on his way
“What’s wrong, Bianca? Who upset my precious daughter?” Mason asked, holding her steady.
