Juliette’s eyes were filled with sparkling light as she encouraged Patrick to bravely put the ring on.
A hint of a smile touched Patrick’s eyes as he held her hand and slipped the wedding ring onto her ring finger. He paused to admire it for a moment before the emcee announced the next part of the ceremony.
The emcee invited the groom to share his vows with his bride before handing the microphone to Patrick.
All eyes in the hall were on Patrick.
He was a man of few words, so they didn’t expect any mushy vows from him. Still, they listened quietly, primarily because they rarely saw this tender side of him, except in his movies.
Though polite and courteous, Patrick always maintained a distance from people.
His status in the industry meant that people constantly tried to please him. No one dared to ask anything of him.
At this moment, Patrick gazed at Juliette intently.
A slight smile graced his serious face.
He said, “What’s mine is yours.”
Everyone was waiting for him to continue, but Patrick didn’t say anything else.
The audience thought, ‘So, is that it? It’s over?‘
The emcee quickly recovered and smoothed things over. The atmosphere livened up again, and finally, the wedding ceremony came to an end.
Julliette changed into her casual dress and went down with Patrick to propose toast.
Louis carried a tray and followed behind them while happily collecting candies.
Everyone was having a good time.
After the dinner, there were refreshments and drinks prepared in another banquet hall, where people could sing, dance, and hangout.
Patrick and Juliette saw the guests off together.
Of course, Beau and Stuart assumed many of the host’s responsibilities and helped entertain the guests.
However, Beau and Stuart also drank a lot.
When Harmony pulled Patrick aside to talk, Stuart pulled Juliette aside.
He said, “Congratulations, Juliette. You are finally free from the sea of misery. From now on, Patrick will protect you, and those scumbags from the Montgomery family will never bully you again.”
Stuart was already a little drunk.
“Thank you. I will always remember what you have done for me today,” Juliette said sincerely.

Stuart shook his head and said, “There’s no need to thank us. You should thank Louis.”
Juliette let out a confused sound.

Stuart explained, “Louis cried and made a scene, nearly tearing the house down. He even threatened to die to force Patrick to pursue you
Stuart was drunk as a smile plastered on his face. He seemed to be unaware of what he was saying. Or maybe he knew and just didn’t care.
He added, “I guess when you saved Louis from the water last time, he came to like you. He couldn’t bear to see you entangled with the Montgomery family, so he made a fuss and demanded his father to steal you from that wedding. Louis truly likes you.”
Juliette held a glass of red wine, the crimson liquid clear yet alluring.
She glanced towards Patrick in the distance. He was frowning while listening to Harmony. He looked rather displeased
Soon after, she withdrew her gaze and said with a slight smile, “Really? Seems like Louis is quite fond of me.” “Absolutely! Louis is the only one who can persuade Patrick to do things he’s unwilling to.” Stuart spoke with a hint of pride for Louis. “You’re going to be Louis’s stepmother soon, so be good to him. He really sees you as his mother now.”
Juliette smiled. “Of course.”
Late into the night, Patrick and Juliette finally entered the master bedroom that had been prepared in advance.
The room was very spacious. It was a huge suite with one bedroom and one living room. Patrick closed the door after they entered.
The space became instantly quiet, and with only the two of them left, they could both feel the awkwardness between them. Patrick poured her a glass of cold water. Juliette said “Thank you” and held it in her hands before taking a sip.
A breeze blew in from the balcony. Juliette turned and walked to the balcony, and Patrick followed.
At this moment, the entire castle was brightly lit, and the water was shimmering under the faint lights.
The wind blew sideways, brushing Juliette’s hair by her temples and revealing her smooth face.
The night was so dark that her whole being seemed to be glowing.
She finished the water in her glass.
Patrick stepped forward and took the glass.
Inadvertently, he touched her fingertip. It was a soft and warm touch. Looking at her, he felt like she had melted into the sparkling water behind her.
It was a picture, so beautiful that it was breathtaking. Her eyes were clear and seductive, and her lipstick–adorned lips were
even sexier.
Patrick was still amazed by her beauty when Juliette suddenly leaned over and kissed him fiercely, her five fingers slipping between his and clasping them tightly.
At this moment, Patrick thought, ‘Wait, I haven’t put the glass back in the room. Well, what the hell. Fuck the glass

His fingers loosened, and the glass fell to the ground with a clang, but neither of them cared.
They were obviously both struggling to control themselves.

However, Juliette’s dress, her head full of hair ornaments, and the heavy bridal makeup on her face obviously became obstacles.
In the end, they had to stop. Patrick took off her dress for her, and Juliette wiped the makeup off her face vigorously with a makeup remover pad.
When she revealed her rosy face, they looked at each other and couldn’t help but smile. They were no longer in a hurry.
Patrick methodically removed each ornament from her hair, his gaze locked on her face as he studied every inch of her expression.
Neither of them spoke, but it felt like they had said a thousand words.
With all the ornaments removed, her long, black hair cascaded down her shoulders.
Patrick held her shoulders and gently kissed her lips. Lost in each other, they quickly shed their clothes and fell onto the large bed.
The bed was so soft that their bodies sank in. They only bounced back up after a while.
A bottle of pre–opened red wine sat by the bed.
Beau was always thoughtful in these matters.
Thinking of Beau at a time like this was a bit of a mood killer for them.
Patrick took a sip and gave Juliette a sip. Her face grew redder, like a ripe apple ready to be plucked.
Patrick leaned down and kissed her red lips.
Before long, they both heard the sound of waves crashing against the shore, wave after wave, seemingly endless.
After the tide passed, the sea calmed down.
Patrick held Juliette tightly in his arms, and Juliette looked at his relaxed, beautiful jawline. They both thought of one thing, ‘We did it.‘
